About what I saw and why I'm buying. Since I trade from zone to zone, I believe since market hasn't gotten to my next resistance @1.67×, it's not done yet, it's just resting to pick up momentum before rising again.

See how the market broke the 1.64× and even moved about 200pips above it. It has rendered that resistance useless according to my strategy. So I believe there's nothing stopping it from getting to that 1.67× zone. Even if it will sell, the sell should start from that zone.

That 1.64× zone was a support before it broke it and turned it to resistance, now it's broken again, I believe it should act as support to catapult price to the next resistance. All these are assumptions by the way.
The trendline is the only obstacle I'm spotting that might cause some hindrance, so I set my TP there instead. Once it's about to hit that trend line again, i wanna get out.

It did come to that support truly and respected it and pushed up as I anticipated. So let's keep fingers crossed. This week will tell us whatever plans EA got for us.

I'm currently not at home, would have loved to show you the screenshot on my laptop instead. I hope this mt5 is enough.

EurAud eventually played out after kicking me out on Monday. I entered earlier than usual. The main point is my bias did play out and that's satisfactory enough.

There's no need to apply for driver's licence just go to any business centre and request for plastic NIN. I think it cost around 4k

Hey guys, lately I think I'm suffering from market PTSD, I'm beginning to doubt myself due to fear of losing or being wrong like this morning I shorted gold at 2042 with my stoploss at 2052, but later after observing price I began to think that what if I'm wrong I have been trying to short gold since the beginning of the week and have been failing, bottom line, just checked the chart now, gold dropped 100 pips price at 2032/2033 there about, what a repeat of last night senario, I really am mollified right now, I am taking the rest of the day off charts. my head is not in the right place now.

Market has a cycle. It is called a 3- day cycle

I learned this from Stacey Burke Trading. Follow his page on YouTube, his course is also useful to help you think of markets differently

Your issue is this...

You are rushing these sell moves. They take time to develop.

Quality sell moves take anywhere from 10-15 hrs or more to develop and even then ,there is a high probability that the market may not be done ranging.

My suggestion:

1. Take only false breakouts sell signals- If you must take sell moves in a range , consider limiting your options to only sell signals that occur above 0.5x of the previous day's range.

Example: gold ranged between 2030-2048 on day 1, Tuesday (30/1/2024), only take a sell move on Thursday, Day 3(1/2/2023) if you see signals of mkt breakdown ard 2057 on day 2, Tuesday.

This system is replicable for range structures only. It will not work for reversals of a strong uptrend.

2. Stop taking sell moves within a range and focus on buy below base moves after key sell levels are taken out

Personally, I prefer option two. It is a very healthy option for your acct and peace of mind.

Ha! As for $1 that's ridiculous. You will enter with a lower lot size then u start layering as the trade moves in your favor. With $50 u can use 0.1lot size×5. Most of those that do that can afford to loose 4x of the flipping capital and still stay reasonable.

Some competitions like rocket21..30% can place you in top five

For some others, you no go see top 40.

The fewer the participants, the higher your chances.

Boss, he is getting slaughtered by taking sell moves within the range

Better for him to stop and rest. Market is telling him that he is not as good as he thinks he is at such moves
