I have been meaning to say this all the while. It's worrisome that we don't have a dead ball player in SE.
1) We are not threats to opposition during corner kicks. We have gone 4 matches in this Afcon. Zero goals from corner. Zero goals from indirect & direct free kicks. We have giants in our team but we cannot convert even 1 corner kick. Not even goal aaaiiih!!. It's worrisome. Our deliveries are always very poor.
people wey get dead ball finishers don go house... Wetin Dey worry una for this forum? Why most of una no get Sense?

The solution to our midfield problems is in the horizon with the likes of Ebenezer, Eletu, Fisayo Bashiru and maybe a rejuvenated Nwakali still to come.

We need three proper attacking midfielder and Aribo needs to go. Iwobi should be on the bench. Where is Akinwunmi Amoo, the midfield wizard? Nwakali must be given a chance

But he averaged 19 minutes per game in his second season with the Bucks and played 68 games in total. In his 3rd season he averaged almost 15.7 minutes per game and played 38 games before he was traded. When he joined the Pacers towards the later part of that season he averaged 24.6 minutes per game playing 24 games for them and interestingly having his career high point average with them. They also won't be talking about contract renegotiation till 2025. Really do not think money is the reason.

But like you said, really hope he gets his shot with the raptors.

At Indiana he averaged 13 ppg shooting over 40 percent from 3pt and still got sent to the bench the next season. How do u explain the demotion? At the bucks he was great whenever given a chance but once the playoffs got there those chances never came.

As far as contracts go u can resign a player whenever u want. The team doesn't have to wait till his deal runs out.

I'm not good with predictions and using my guts to tell the outcome of a match.

But I can tell if SE will win a match within the context of our play. As in from the way we play, I can tell if we will win or not. Like from the blast of the whistle and the way we hustled every ball in the match against Cameroun I knew we'd win. Even when Semi's goal was canceled, I told the guy I was watching the match with, that naija will still score.

And my logic is simple: if we play well, we win. Of course sometimes we play well and lose and sometimes we play badly and win but generally the best play wins

Ehen so Iwobi is soft and they should now remove him and bring somebody who has no bone in his body.

I have no objection to Nwakali being invited but Iwobi is good enough for SE.

Anyway let me call charlesemeka85 to give you a more robust reply

that guy is supposed to be playing for Enugu rangers. He's below average
So why is he a constant starter under all the coaches that are handling SE (even JP) ever since he joined?

The match is 50-50 for me. The Angolans are not push over. Expect something similar to the Equatorial Guinea match. Like the Congolese but more rivalry.

Camerounians are saying on social media that the times we've beaten them in AFCON we have failed to make it to the finals.

whenever we beat cameroon we are always reaching the semifinals and then meeting North African teams who eventually Knocks us to the 3rd place play off matches…thats why im psychologically happy morocco is out..trust me if we had met them in the semifinals that curse will still be there..so lets see if we can get past Angola wether the curse will resurface against CPV/SA in the semifinals

Its shocking to hear you say Iwobi is good enough for SE. How could you say this knowing fully well our team is suffering because of the incompetence of the midfielders like Iwobi and Aribo.

Had Charles ever made a sensible post. You want a goofy 45yrs old man to give you a reply. Biko rest.

One of Angolan star player,Ben Mukendi has left the team camp and has returned to his club side in Portugal.
He was complaining of not getting enough game time in the tournament.

That’s why I laugh when someone here say we have not played stronger opponents, we all thought Equitorial Guinea was soft until they walloped both Ivory Coast and Guinea Bissau. It has taken Guinea a team who beat us just before Afcon to send a stubborn Equitorial Guinea out.
Patriotically i forsee a Nigeria v Gui Final.
on the negative side it may annoyingly be
SA vs Mali(Tufiakwa!!!🤮)

We have won the Afcon three times. Why isn't our jersey badge carrying three stars?

German WC jersies always carry 4 stars indicating the number of times they have won the WC

But Iwobi fan boys said he is having a fantastic game and owned the midfield against Cameroon....laugh wan tear my blokos. Pesin wey we no know whether na defender him be or midfield. Onyeka is playing defensive midfield and attacking while Iwobi hides in the field walking around like an unburied corpse. What an incompetent midfielder! Cant hold the ball for more than 5 seconds...pathetic. Someone even said he is one of our best players in the tournament.

We need a proper midfield for goodness sake

Iwobi is tormenting this one like the way Nwakali is tormenting Emeka 😂😂😂
