Why no one in this forum dey talk about the mali team in this afcon

Those guys sabi ball ooooo

Mali is a good team that I’m tipping to beat CIV, but there is no point discussing them now when they aren’t in our path to the final. We have Angola to worry about, if we pass that huddle, then CV or SA. It is a step at a time.

Iwob,i given the chance, either inside the box or outside the box, has a weak shot or poor technique at shooting accurately at goal. This is what i dislike most about him. Dude always always wobble at shooting with aplomb. Just doesn't have it like okocha when it comes to shooting at goal.

One of Angolan star player,Ben Mukendi has left the team camp and has returned to his club side in Portugal.
He was complaining of not getting enough game time in the tournament.

He is not one of their star players. He is to Angola what Nathan Douala is to Cameroon. He has not seen the even a single minute in this AFCON and he is just 21. So plus or minus him, the Angolan ship go still dey sail until we sink am tomorrow

But Iwobi fan boys said he is having a fantastic game and owned the midfield against Cameroon....laugh wan tear my blokos. Pesin wey we no know whether na defender him be or midfield. Onyeka is playing defensive midfield and attacking while Iwobi hides in the field walking around like an unburied corpse. What an incompetent midfielder! Cant hold the ball for more than 5 seconds...pathetic. Someone even said he is one of our best players in the tournament.

We need a proper midfield for goodness sake

alright,. Give us the list of Nigerian midfielders better than Alex iwobi currently,

If he's a regular in his club, then I understand his decision. Not every one has the patience to be wasting on the bench, when they could be playing regularly for their club.

omeruo is an average defender. 2018, he escorted messi till he scored against uzoho. 2017 against Zambia, an ancient mbesuma bullied him to scored in a WCQ when he couldn't control a simple volley

now wey u don spot out matches he fumbled oya do well to mention the matches he did well.
Against CIV in 2013 he man-marked a red hot drogba preventing him from seeing a goal.
Shey its messi u are using to measure omeruo abi? how many of our defenders fit mark messi..
2010 enyeama was our savior(all the defenders just dey jonez)
2014 how many defenders hold messi

Not easy to agree terms with Ajax but #NFFC trying to bring one more player in after Sels, Gio Reyna and Rodrigo Ribeiro.

This is still very surprising. How did this guy do so well in the Seria A last season with a very poor team and none of the clubs signed him till now? I sincerely thought he was going to be hot take for at least the mid table clubs with ambition.

Keyword in your write up is ' Do so well with a very poor team. Unfortunately some bartimeus amongst us will ignore that and say if they are good enough they would have been snapped up tay tay.

his team lost 8-0 in his first match back. At least he has seen action that was denied him in the afcon

And this is my biggest problem with Iwobi. Very short on confidence, creativity and finishing. As soon as the ball gets to him he instantly forgets he is an attacking midfielder....no vision, no tricks and no confidence. The lack of confidence comes from the fact he knows he is not capable of playing that role.

his shooting style never changes. If all the players put on a sack on their head and they shoot, you can always identify iwobi and I think it's too late for him to change.

I don't see how the Angolans defense will stop our attack.
They have conceded the most shot on their goal playing Namibia, Mauri...etc.

It will be our easiest game!

Their defence is not strong at all. We just have to be on top of our game.

I'm not good with predictions and using my guts to tell the outcome of a match.

But I can tell if SE will win a match within the context of our play. As in from the way we play, I can tell if we will win or not. Like from the blast of the whistle and the way we hustled every ball in the match against Cameroun I knew we'd win. Even when Semi's goal was canceled, I told the guy I was watching the match with, that naija will still score.

And my logic is simple: if we play well, we win. Of course sometimes we play well and lose and sometimes we play badly and win but generally the best play wins

Yeah, usually from the first 10-15mins of a game you can tell who the better team is baring any twists and turns in the game.

Sunday Mba played just two good games for Nigeria. Please rest this talk!
That was how you guys forced Keshi to take that Gabriel... to the World Cup. Once Onazi got injured our midfield just collapsed. Abeg!

Sunday Mba was very influential to us lifting the AFCON. Dont disrespect him because he was home based. He was a beautiful attacking midfielder. Iwobi is not half the player he was. Mba was also in his late twenties during the AFCON without European football experience.

My biggest headache with Iwobi is that I dont know where he belongs on the pitch. He simply loves the attacking midfield role because of the fame that comes with it.

Oga u need to recant that statement. Just 2 games you say? Thise 2 games were the title defining games. I think we need to respect what he did.

Error number 2. Nobody forced Gabriel on Keshi. That was solely his choice and whatever happened is on him. Thanks

Iwobi took you to 2018 World Cup. Took you to 2019 AFCON semis (scored the winning goal against Cameroon and the assist against SA). And still contributing to your team in 2024. You are the one disrespecting Iwobi for a guy that scored just two goals for Nigeria in his entire career!

keshi never gave him chance

The small one em manage get his lates brace against SA at Uyo saved us from embarrassment. I think that was keshi’s last game as super eagles coach

Prior to 2013 afcon the guy was flying in the colors of Glasgow Rangers but keshi preferred Uzoenyi 🤣🤣

That 2013-2014 season he was among Nigerian best players in europe

Asisat Oshoala leaves Barcelona, to join Bay FC in USA.

The striker landed in the United States of America on Tuesday to undergo her medicals and sign a two year contract with option of an extension.

Transfer fee is around 162,000 USD
