Go to NIMC for modification of date of birth before you renew your passport. The last time I checked, the approved fee for a change of date of birth request was ₦15,000. It's hoped that the fee is still ₦15,000.

Any body don apply for passport recently,,,I heard after online payment,u gats wait for approval again before going for capture

I have a birth certificate but its not from National Population Commission
I have an affidavit of local government origin (been using these for years for other purposes)

please can I still go ahead with the process? or make i just go give agent money avoid the stress of running around.

Since you were born before 1992, an affidavit of birth from a high court in Nigeria is acceptable.

If you reside in Lagos State, go to Edo State Government Liaison Office to get your Edo State Certificate of Origin. Address: Edo House, 1225 Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos State.

I did my passport payment online and my collection date is btw this month and have even passed as we in February already and on passport website (Passport Application Status) it says
“Passport Issued”
Passport pending production. ?? What does that means do I need to go and check at their office my self or what’s going on because I just did sent people that assist with passport my enrollment slip that is carrying my collection date.

Someone should please help 🙏🏽

But with the new application system, I don't think guarantors form is required, i am not sure yet, i will ask from an officer coz i wanted to do DIY for my Parents.

If you are a resident of Lagos, the Oyo State Liaison Office is located at:
83, Oduduwa Crescent, GRA Ikeja, Lagos.

The state of origin certificate from there should cost you a little less than ₦5,000 and not more than ₦5,000. So, just budget ₦5,000. Go with a passport photograph and perhaps grease the hands of the officials to avoid any delay. The Oyo State Liaison Office closes at 4 in the afternoon. You will be required to provide your full name, home town, local government area where your town is located, and name of (your) family compound.

They requested for reference number and application number, but nothing shows up thereafter.

Anyone experienced this? Any way out?

I am experiencing this issue as well, please how did you later get it ?

Pls house, is there any way I can retrieve my reference number and application number? I only have the printout that states my collection date.

No need for guarantors form, it has been scrapped

I went to festac yesterday.crowd dey but not as people carry over hype the crowd.. saw some immigration officers with some fine big asses too and different shapes and sizes in Thier yori yori skirts
Not DIY.
As I know wan hear some Kain stories wey them write on top some people wey do online application for their paper..

Pls I made payment for my passport online using paystack yesterday which I got a confirmation of payment via email but on the application portal it's still unpaid.how do I resolve this issue
