The National Identity Number (NIN) at the beginning of this year became a requirement for registration of PCMs into the NYSC program.

NYSC haven been in collaboration with NIMC has made this known to the general public the need for NIN to become a requirement for NYSC Registration beginning with the 2024 Batches.

For those who are serving already, the NIN is now a requirement for corpers to log into their NYSC dashboard. Thus,
whoever do not have a NIN can no longer be a partaker of NYSC program hence the need to have it.

NYSC have explained that the use of NIN for NYSC registration will provide correct and valid data of corps members.

All serving corps members henceforth must provide their NIN before they can be able to log into their NYSC portal.

If you were part of earlier batches or 2023's Batch A, B, or C and didn't report to camp despite having printed your call-up letter, you've been automatically revalidated for the 2024 Batch A.
Look out for a new call-up number when online registration opens. You'll find this by signing into your dashboard.

This is to inform all foreign trained graduates who registered online for the 2024 Batch ‘A’ service year, whose credentials and travel documents are yet to be physically verified that the verification exercise has been scheduled to hold from 1st to 3rd February, 2024.

NOTE:

a. As part of the measures put in place for stress free exercise Prospective Corps Members are expected to strictly report on the date and time specified on the verification slip.

b. You are to present all original credentials, travel documents and registration with professional bodies (MDCN, PCN, NMCN,etc) as uploaded online during registration.

c. Furthermore, you are to adhere strictly to the date and time assigned to you for the smooth conduct of the exercise.

d. You are to note that only persons whose credentials are duly physically verified and cleared will be deployed, exempted, or excluded from National Service.

I clicked on revalidation link and was asked to log in.. when i did..my previous call up number and letter was gone..does that mean I have been revalidated?

Yes you’ll get a new call up number or it might be your old call up letter that will appear, just keep checking.

Lol, when you register earlier did you choose a state you want to be posted to? Anyways just keep checking you’ll see it, registration just started yesterday.

Name on your NIN must match with JAMB all other, DOB and all other details are not needed.

Yes you’ll revalidate, but you don’t have to register when you’re not ready

Your exemption certificate is equivalent to NYSC certificate.

If you’re yet to confirm your Call up Number, kindly login to your dashboard to check it.

So you can go ahead and print out your green card and get other documents ready while waiting for your call up letter.

The call up letter will be out by 11th-12th of Feb 3-4 days before the ORIENTATION COURSE CAMP opens across the country.
