Why are the Malians so desperate to win. It is not over until it is over. They are so indiscipline all over the field.

Best third-placed team, then penalty win. Sounds like hardwork to me. grin
Equatorial Guinea that finished first, where are they today?

And you think it's easy to win a penalty shoot-out?

Cote D'Ivoire aren't lucky anymore

They are big game players

All the three substitutes played a part in the goals

Two substitutes both scored the goals

Incredible stuff.. if we meet them, we need to score at least two goals.
Oh well, if Mali had scored their penalty you wouldn't be saying this sha

Once civ reaches the semi-final CAF will push the cup to them. The referees have been favoring them since the match against senegal

Football is about scoring goals not ball possession or fancy football. Mali were the better side but they were not clinical enough. That is why credit should go to the super Eagles for game management.

He expected the referee to allow them to take the corner kick.

Great comeback by Ivory Coast. So it's building up to a final between Nigeria and Ivory Coast.

Mali have themselves to blame sha. Very sore losers, what were they trying to do, beat up the referee. Very immature team, didn't expect this from the team.

It really did. Opportunities wasted most times comes to hunt. The South Africans squandered a PK against this Mali side & they paid for it.

They were lucky though to qualify from the group stages especially since it wasn't in their hands to do so.
Lucky?

They won Guinea Bissau and lost a keenly contested match against Nigeria who only survived via a penalty.

They had 3 shots on target in that match, while Nigeria had just one (the penalty)

Came back against Mali with 10 men.

Finished how? You people seem to forget that these people make their money playing in Europe. Many of them especially the ones from poorer countries actually play for free for their national teams..

Eto'o has serious allegations facing him from one amateur side in his native land.

So the guy is not as clean as u might thought.

That has to be trashed
