I also submitted my application January 15th and received and received AOR same day I submitted but my question is: Is it compulsory I create a status tracker account Before now I have been receiving email alerts for any update on my account.

I am new on this platform. I relocated late last year through (Healthcare pathway). I got nomination from Alberta for EE same late last year.

beeblackstar:
Please I need help. I submitted my application three weeks ago and I got AOR the same day I submitted. However I’ve been unable to create a status tracker account. It keeps complaining about the UCI number. Please can anyone who has experienced this tell me how he/she solved this issue. Thanks

IRCC invites 7,000 Express Entry candidates in category-based draw for French language proficiency. Cutoff 365

Last general draw was 541 and only 730 invited.

French helped my family and I. We got an invite in June 2023 and landed Canada as PRs in December 2023.

Don't sleep on French o! Dedicate 2024 to learning French. Like seriously learning French and write the TEF.

💯

#MeToo....and quite a few others here.

If I understand correctly, looks like effective Dec 10 2023 for TEF Canada, IRCC (abi na the NCLC/CLB guys) don lower the bar small sef. Na CLB 7 still, but the actual score don dey reduced from 450/699 at least for LRW...TCF Canada remains unchanged.

Last piece of advice for the new year is from a veteran, Blackbuddy, who must have used FX rate of 300 or less during his own application (now na x4).....#BuyDollar

https://www.nairaland.com/2624318/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/728#59148316

CIC is interested in the POF as dollars but you are allowed to hold the equivalent as Naira, pounds, rupees, cedis, etc.

So you are expected to have the dollar equivalent till conclusion of the application review process. If on Monday your POF is say, 4m naira and equal to $20,000.00 which is the expected POF for a family of 4 (this is just an example please), if exchange rate fluctuates and on Friday, your 4m is no longer equal to $20,000.00 but is now equal to $18,000.00, can you say have the complete POF? Of course not, because you no longer have the equivalent of $20,000.00. Just get the complete dollars and keep so that if naira goes up or down, you're not concerned as your $20k remains complete.

Best!

You cannot use loan for this application. You'd need to provide a reliable source/explanation for the money, such as a gift deed, property sales deed/document (i.e for the car), or any other proof of liquidation of some asset.

I was advised to use a gift deed(or notarized)…from family(dad in this instance).
My question now is that…will I use both a deed and sign via notary public?

A deed is often notarized at the Notary, so its basically same thing. I hope the money came directly from his account tho.

@everyone,

Please if you've written the CELPIP test, kindly tell us how much you paid and what bank card you used. Alot of people are facing difficulties making this payment. I don't want to believe the amount quoted in naira on their website, so please if you've written the test, tell us:
1. How much you paid
2. What bank card you used
3. Perhaps the dollar equivalence of the #76,000 quoted on their website.

NB: Please don't tell us to use a "dorm card". Tell us the dorm card you used exactly that worked for you and don't tell us you can make the payment for us.

Thank you.

I recently paid for Celpip, I used a UBA prepaid card. You can get this from any UBA bank, you don't need to have an account with them. Load it, you can only load from other UBA prepaid card holders. I paid about 87 dollars for it.

Please I need with this because I'm very confused

This refers to your Canadian Work Permit application.
I have reviewed your application and documents you submitted in its support. Subsection 11(1)
of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act provides that a foreign national must, before
entering Canada, apply to an officer for a visa or any other document required by the
Regulations. The visa or document shall be issued if, following an examination, the officer is
satisfied that the foreign national is not inadmissible and meets the requirements of this Act.
I have concerns that you do not meet the requirement put upon you by subsection 16(1) of the
Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA), which states:
16(1) A person who makes an application must answer truthfully all questions put to
them for the purpose of the examination and must produce a visa and all relevant
evidence and documents that the officer reasonably requires.
I have additional concerns that you may be inadmissible under subsection 40(1) of IRPA, which
states:
40(1) A permanent resident or a foreign national is inadmissible for misrepresentation
(a) for directly or indirectly misrepresenting or withholding material facts relating to a
relevant matter that induces or could induce an error in the administration of this Act.
Specifically, I have concerns that you owe $100.00 to the crown
