na wetin people no wan understand be this, the coach has his plan b already and we are here breaking our heads. He has said if he's looking for goals Iheanancho can come in, I wonder what's all this fuss about oshimen not scoring. I was worried earlier during the group stages but having understood the coach's intention in later games, I calmed down.

Why do people create a self birthed narrative and present a pack of lies as truth.

Fact, KC is not match fit , he has not played since December 2 , came to SE straight from the treatment room. Leicester actually said he was not fit for the AFCON.

Peseiro has said essentially the same thing, not fit enough though play.

Add to to the fact that he has been poor over the past three seasons. He is not going to change anything. He really shouldn't be in the squad.

Yes we were. Last AFCON. We played sweet sexy football and smashed all the teams in our group with ease. Without Osimhen.

We would have beaten Tunisia too had Okoye not had his moment of madness.

Check all the games we fumbled recently or struggled to score. Whether against Ghana or our loss to Guinea Bissau in Abuja. Osimhen played.
how about we go back to the games pre afcon. Specifically the wcq

Ekong is very good at brining the ball out from the defense.

I wonder how una Dey watch ball sometimes

Against a mid/low block any player is good at bringing the ball out from the defense, especially in a back three. You have more passing options, the opponents cannot double press you, you have CMs/DMs in Iwobi and Onyeka that can receive the ball, you have Osimhen you can lump the ball to. Very easy.

The problem is facing a high press in a back two. Once the options are limited, that is when you know who is good at bringing the ball out from the defense and who is not.

There’s no need to over flog this matter and am not a member of the Iheanacho gang either. What you quoted was what the coach said initially but after the Cameroon game the coach went to say if he needed goals against Cameroon the player would have been featured.

If Na so then South Africa for they win AFCON every time undecided
Have you noticed the recent strides in CAF CL and Caf WCL and Wafcon? South Africa are dominating all so far. Infact, Mamelodi have hacked the North African clubs already. The Bafana will want to complete the swoop to assert themselves in one kine way. But i know we pass them. They should watch out. But we should avoid fouls near our box. Moko can win the game for them with his bendItIn freekicks.

Speaking with a few SA fans, and they sound very confident of defeating the Super Eagles.

8 out of the first 11 in that SA team are starters at the number one club in SA, Mamelodi Sundowns., something similar to the Spanish side that won the world cup in 2010.

Anyway, make the eagles jus dey clinical with the few chances they may get, Defence no get problem, and we hardly play midfield game.

Most of the British bred guys are more technically sound compared to the Nigerian bred with the except Iheanacho and a few others
The guys here usually play with heart, hardwork, raw talent etc
Osimhen would improve properly if he hires a personal coach for injury & energy management & for other things like this during holidays
He needs to fine tune a few things to become a lethal finisher
I believe Harry Kane is still a better striker than Osimhen
Victor can improve nevertheless

It's like people are afraid to say the obvious.

VO greatest strengths are his relentless, never stop work rate, the raw determination and blind rage he uses to play . He is like a man on a mission that overcomes his handicap by his unparalleled mental attitude and single minded aggressive force to succeed. In this regard he is the best.

However, against equally fast, physically stronger 💪🏿 more robust and highly determined black African muscle head defenders he is struggling.

World class players use techniques, skill, deceptive play to overcome obstacles. These are not the attributes of VO.

VO relies on his aforementioned unique attributes, it's not going to be very successful in the AFCON that's now proven.

It's time for Moffi to come and maybe Victor can come in as a substitute to replace him or even complement him as second striker. Right now AFCON defenders have read him , he does the same thing he is not unpredictable.

He is still absolutely essential but we need to try Moffi and see what he can do. It's avwin win if Moffi does nothing for 45 minutes.

Then unleash a refreshed and full of running with greater determination VO, for 45 minutes of non stop aggression I think he will score at least two in such circumstances.

Particularly as players always tire in the last 40 minutes of a match .

Osimhen will and must score against South Africa.

Theres nobody will hold him in that team. Who? Mention the guy let's see his stats.

From what ive seen or heard, southy best player is their keeper. Something is fundamentally wrong with your team if your keeper is your star.

It's not only osimhen. They'd have to battle Bassey and Ekong at the back. Onyeka in the middle, luqman and osimhen forward.

I doubt if southy can beat Cameroon.
I doubt if southy can outplay Angola.
Heck, I doubt if southy can beat Equatorial Guinea one on one.
Mvala, their CB is good. But not enough to stop Osimhen to me. He balled well in r16. Their backline aside this guy offer nothing big enough to frustrate SE. Simon and Chuks will run through and win fouls easily. But we need ways to stop their pace sha.

And I think that's the problem with Nigerians. They are too emotional and sentimental in everything they do which affects their judgment. Look at how tribalism brought a criminal and incompetent Tinubu to power and today everyone is suffering and my phone lines are blowing up.

Yes, Osimhen has been very poor not just by not scoring but also his ball control and hold up is very poor. I a bit disappointed although I still rate and believe in him. He is too predictable. If I was a defender playing against him he will never touch the ball because its obvious he has poor ball control.

Whether mid block o, high block o, low block o, ice block o... Ekong had been bringing ball out of defence and we are now in semi. We are playing a tournament involving African teams and not against the like of City, Arsenal or pool.

I think we are getting this wrong. All it takes for South africa to beat us is a mistake at the back which they can capitalize on and then we start chasing games. Notice that in this tournament, we are yet to come back from behind apart from the Equatorial Guinea match. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Ask or rather pray that our strikers take their chances when they need to. Enough of game management ideas. If you have 8 chances, bury 7. That's the only way to come out on tips.

To be saying SA can't beat us will be a very bad and condescending way to approach our game. Let's not forget they beat us 2 nil in Uyo... star studded or not.

why should we be afraid? Based on our head to head, our quality of players and performance in this tournament and even the last afcon match we played against south africa, they should be the ones afraid. South Africa can't beat us. You are not part of the squad so you saying they can't beat us is not condescending, it's your duty as a fan. if south Africans can confidently say they will beat us, there is nothing stopping us from saying such. Don't worry We are lifting that trophy.

Let us beat SA first before we talk about trophy. I think we’ll beat SA, but people have valid concerns about our inability to take the chances we create.

In football, you don’t take your chances and you’ll likely be punished. See Cape Verde.
