Read the instructions at the top left. In mine, it says you are to do nothing. You will be contacted when necessary.

Nothing is wrong, iam also on this lane....my f4 got approved and sent to nvc in March 2024, Nothing since then. F4 is the slowest, you will be contacted when your pd gets current, they may also contact you before then to start preparing your documents and make payments, but until the, make sure you check your email and nvc dashboard regularly. Best of luck

Yeah, the wait is frustrating!!, my petition will be 10 years on 11th of this month, it was approved in March 2022, I have not received any correspondence since then o. From the look of things I still have about 5 more years to wait, the good thing though is that I get visiting visas. Just continue life, it will materialize one day...

From your initial post, I thought your PD was already current and you were having problems paying since your case got to the NVC.
But it seems like your PD is not current so there's nothing you can do at the moment.
Check the visa bulletin regularly.

Hey guys, I have been reading for a while.

I am a USC, filled for my daughter (I-130) in September 2022.
January 12, 2024, got approved and case sent to NVC,
Recvied welcome letter/mail on Jan 19th 2024
Submitted all the required documents on Jan 26th, on February 2nd one of the documents rejected after review. I replaced the document same day and today February 5th got a mail Documentarily qualified and asked to wait for interview letter.

Her visa category is IR2. Please anyone with idea of how soon Lagos will be ready for an interview?

Yes I have been getting visiting visas, and having an immigrant petition does not disqualify you from getting a visiting visa. You may want to give it a shot, you have been waiting 11 years? Has your petition been approved?

My family visited the US in 2016, I didn't bother applying, though I hadn't included them in my petition.

They tried applying in 2019 when I had included them in the petition and they were denied.

I wasn't sure if it was because I had included them in the petition or because it was that Trump era of refusal. We will give it a shot again.

There were some movements on March 2024 Visa bulletin. For example, F4 had 2 weeks. Guys, check!

Your category is F2A and your PD is Nov 2022. What is your DQ? No DQ because they are inviting those with PD of 01SEP23 for documentation, after that you get DQed. For interview, they are currently dealing with folks with PD of 08FEB20.

Your spouse becoming a US citizen may be what hastens things for you guys. That time your category goes to IR1 which has no capping.

That is the second table, which means F2A applicant repeating the application electronically, (where you upload civil documents, fill out DS260, and pay the fee) this time with NVC . After this phase, you get documentarily complete (you wait o) and wait some more for your PD to be current again (by checking table 1 each month ). NVC moves your application to the Embassy in Lagos and they get you the interview letter.

Sorry, I got married on Aug 2022, my wife Filed on Sept 2022 and it got approved on Oct 2022.

Has USCIS approved your I-130 petition? If it is approved, then send an email to NVC at the NVC inquiry page.

Does anyone have an answer to this question? My mother in-law has been waiting since September after the approval of all documents and forwarded to the NVC. We have not received any date for interview since then. Anyone with the same experience, please share!

I found a FB group where intending immigrants share experiences. From the information available, Lagos is interviewing those DQ in May 2023 for the IR visa categories.

So your answer has to do with her visa category .
