Safety is also getting home on time; while it is still day.

You can be alive and be in the kidnappers den. That is not safety.

The roads are lonely, and unsafe. If the roads are good, jack your speed up to at least be in sight of another vehicle. You cannot be doing 100km/hr as if we are in Texas. grin

No time to waste time for highway. No be cruise i pay for.

If road free, open leg, abeg grin

You go make money for Police well when they take you for defensive driving

I paid over $500 over 3yrs for overspeeding ticket. you either pay and go for classes or lose driving privileges

That is because gen noises makes some of them unable to sleep. So should they endure noise and sleepless nights?

which is why i discussed financial level

i first lived among retirees. they were the ones who made generator an issue. now where i live no one has ever complained. and now where i used to live most of the retirees have sold their houses and left.

the issue was not so much noise as it was somthing they were not partaking in.

If you have your retired parents staying in an estate where most of the neighbors are either going to onsite work or retired people like them, they now see a 27yr old who doesn't leave home to work, move with laptops and God help him dresses unconventionally, like braid hair or pierce his ears be sure they won't be comfortable and if any issue happens in the neighborhood that looks like an inside job he will be the first suspect.

What the hell did I just read. This is the same nonsense that has gotten so many blacks arrested and even killed unfairly yet you are justifying it with such a shocking scenario. If you have been wrongly profiled with serious consequences you won't be here typing this.

I honestly don't see anything wrong in what the neighbor did, Its the irresponsible police that is the problem

Which is why I always say profiling is part of human nature when people in US complain about profiling. The poster was simply profiled by his neighbor and he was odd

While the same profile of the guy I described above if he lives in Lekki would not be so out of place

It doesn't make them wrong it doesn't make them racists

We always encourage, if you see something out of place, say something
Thank you
I wanted to use America police profiling black man as armed and dangerous until he's verified as example too
In my CDA we are advised to say anything odd no matter how little because if such odd thing germinate e go reach everyone

The king is diagnosed of cancer and dem announce am publicly .

If na Nigeria now , Sahara reporters go report am and quote reliable source who craves anonymity , the president’s or governor’s spokesperson will issue statement labeling the news false, some people will believe the spokesperson while others will believe Sahara
.. until the person later dies in office .

CARDOSO’S INTERVIEW WITH ARISETV:-

On Forex backlog :-The biggest high point which has made the news is the discovery of yet another $2.4 billion unverifiable claims which are more or less fraudulent. He then assured the CBN was going to pay the verifiable balance of $2.2 billion “shortly”

On Naira Stability :- He stressed the need to tame the current Volatility which remains his most overriding concern. He said they were looking to make the market more open, transparent and further liberalize it, which will then lead to the effective price discovery of Naira.

In saving the Naira:-

Short term goals are;- Banks selling their excess dollars, getting most of the diaspora remittance into the official channel by engaging stakeholders, and making NNPC and MDAs accrue their forex earnings to the CBN.

Mid term goals:- Build market confidence to attract Foreign portfolio investment ( FPI). He said a lot of investors have shown interest and taking notes of the reforms

Long term goal :- Increasing export and FDI.
He remains bullish about the fact that Naira is still very much undervalued and also reiterated that CBN is not converting domiciliary account into Naira as that “goes against the grain of a free market”.

On CBN’s Fiscal Intervention:- Cardoso walks back on his earlier stance. He said the CBN is opened to intervention but must be well thought out and with the direct collaboration of all stakeholders as CBN do not have the luxury to another failed intervention. He mentioned the prospect of potential interventions to farmers, manufacturers and MSMEs.

On MPC:- New members of the monetary policy committee have been chosen and to be made public soon. He promised to make their decisions impactful to the economy.

Finally he talked about getting feedback from Nigerians about their policies especially through social media. He reassured Nigerians that there is no need to panic and the time for cynicism was in the past. He is moving ahead and focused on getting things done.

Copied.

Burna's good. The best at the moment. But I think you need to calm down with the worship. Wizkid is more than a worthy rival, IMO. He has had more success on the home front and has the longevity to back his argument. Burna's success was propelled by the Black diaspora, not his home base. An inversion of the natural process of 'blowing'. It was when he started getting international recognition, starting with 'Ye' that people began to jump on his train. You can't be the GOAT of something as tribal as Afrobeats if it took foreigners for your own people to truly recognise you.

This constant fellating of Burna is why he keeps misbehaving and thinks he's tiers above everyone else. Throwing his colleagues under the bus in interviews. He is very good at what he does, no doubt but saying it's an insult to mention him alongside other Nigerian artistes is disrespecting the numerous talented artistes we have in the industry.

Diasporans have finer taste beyond kpon kpon kpon lyrics, na why

Make Wizkid go rest jare, apart from the occasional hits, he no dey excite my earbuds at all. I prefer Ruger by far sef after Burna

All is set for the African Development Bank to commence the disbursement of $540 million to the first phase of states in Nigeria for the development of Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZs).

As part of moves by the Nigerian government and the bank to ensure food security in the country, three states are to benefit from phase one of the development of processing zones, including Oyo, Kaduna and Cross River, while others are to get theirs as soon as they are through with documentation.

Immediately I realized this, I knew certain people aren't worth a response from me. Not online and certainly not in person.

There's a reason Tinubu mentioned a certain state is the headquarters of fraud and cybercrimes during his campaigns.
There's a reason Aisha Buhari mentioned a certain state is the headquarters of prostitution.

I'd rather the Earth tilts off its axis than dignify a nĂźtwit Shalli-whatever fanatic who champions fraud music and unintelligence. The Universe forbids that.

Hogwash. Your rare encounter doesn't neglect the hundreds of cases where blacks were profiled, arrested, harassed, sent to prison and even killed. Profiling is not their job. Their job is getting concrete evidence and then acting on it . Tell me the suspicious activity in the story that was shared here. How is it different from when Nigerian police were brutalizing and killing young men just because they looked good which lead to the endsars protest.
