I know the kind billing my friends here in the UK they receive daily. I just dey pity them. When u wan travel and u don announce for everyone for village say u dey comot Naija.

She was talking about her family, right?

Thank God I no tell anyone say I wan travel, I dey chat with some people self as if say I still dey the con3. Apart from my parent and the guy taking care of them that I used to send money, I don't have to overwork myself because I wan please anybody for Naija.

You are taking care of your parents but she's angry because her own family too is living good probably courtesy of her generosity. Is your own family not living good courtesy of you? My point is that she's seeking attention.

Them think say the kind cold person dey suffer for here good for body. If not that our con3 dey messed up, wetin we dey find come this place.

Should we now hail you for your decision to be discreet or pity you for where you found yourself? My point is that anywhere we found ourselves, be it Naija, UK or Canada has pros and cons.
Personally, I don't envy people living and working abroad and I don't look up to them. Sometimes, I even ignored their calls (they tend to talk for long which is not my thing).

I'm telling you. They always want to be the only ones looking good. If another person looks good because of their 100 naira, it's lavishing.

A place where a privileged minister can embezzle billions of Naira meant to alleviate poverty, what do you expect.
The average home-based person is entitled, bitterly and codedly envious and exploitative. Like only about 5% are different are not necessarily those you expect to be good to you are good. It might be outsiders that are decent. Even some parents are exploiters and embezzlers of funds from their abroad based children.

They people abroad stingy, yet same people won't give a beggar 10 Naira.

I agree with you on this one, even my friend abroad is closer to me than his extended family members

Is she envying her own kin for using what she gave them well?
She'd rather go and find them in poverty and starvation
Yes o. The 100 naira equivalent she's sending is now too much for her family because they were able to manage and ball with it here .

This your mentality is the same mentality most Nigerian ladies who manage to succeed financially have, and reason financially buoyant ladies hardly make positive impact in the lives of their family members; from their parents to siblings to cousins, nieces, nephews and even husband if they are married. The only person(s) that enjoy black women's financial success are:

1.) her biological children
2.) her sugar boy or useless lover

Go round Nigeria and check how much impact rich Nigerian ladies made in the lives of their family members, communities and friends, if you check well it's mostly below par when compared to men or guys in the same financial capacity with the ladies.

So nobody should be surprised a Nigerian lady like you wrote this because it's normal, most of you ladies are created stingy, tight-fisted, selfish and stylishly wicked, and that is why God and nature made men to always be richer than women because if majority of global wealth ends up in the hands of women, the world will suffer cos they will never let it circulate. Wealth in the hand of a man benefit more people than when the same wealth is in the hand of a woman

Are you crazy? Why are you now making it about gender?

Who told you that it's only women that have this mentally ?

Don't you have some shame and pride as an able bodied man, why do you want a woman to bail you out financially? Why does this topic upset you ?

That’s false! The citizens of those countries are complaining too! Who will you own a house/land for 20 years and later default in payment, only for your house to be foreclosed?

Why do you have to be in debt to succeeed?

In Africa, people are worth their reel value. In the Western world, you can be worth 2 million dollars and your real value is less than 100k.

The whole western dream is an illusion! Soak kids in debt right from college till they die. Is that what you call life? Where people have to race to service debt because they don’t want to get back on the street.

Whats real in the western world? Why they will always cajole you yo even get candy on credit.

You are still saying the same thing, you don't have to worth anything to live a good life. And of course, the irrational people among them will definitely complain about it because in their mind, it is their right to accumulate as much wealth as they can.

Their societies has been programmed in such a way that governments takes care of the children and the old. If government can take care of your needs before you start working and after you stop working, is it a bad idea to work for them too in your active days?

The reality is that, you can't have an egalitarian society with the mentality of an average African.

I sense too much of entitlement feeling and anger in you. She has a point, those who you're helping should tone down their living.you can't be living large at the expense of others, just like my cuz who spend 15k on a very small handbag that's not worth it but she's always begging for help. Wisdom is profitable to direct
She stopped because they were living well, she didn't say that they were always asking for more or that they didn't appreciate what she was doing for them or that they squandered her money she trusted them with.
She was angry simply because they put their life in order, that's petty.

It's not their fault that they live in a place where the 10 dollars you send can get them a luxury it can't afford you over there. If you look at it, you still spend the bulk of your money more than them because you send them chingum money that can't take you a week but spend thousands of what you send to them here for yourself. So how are they enjoying more than you?
Person go just dey begin calculate the small 100 dollars ( wey be like 100 naira to am) wey him dey send say e too much. Small prayers wey you for receive for sending a meager 100 dollars, you now lose it because of over calculations.

It's this wicked mentality that is making many of you to be stingy. It's very bad. If they have the opportunity to be there like you, I'm sure they won't ask you for anything.

Keep your money. Those in naija go still shine and fresh pass una because we eat real natural organic food and get natural Vit D year round.
You guys wait. It's only a matter of time, we will soon have good govt and nobody will send you and your lonely lives abroad anymore.

Very stingy people.

Even if she was wrong by over-generalizing, this your comment has FULLY JUSTIFIED HER.
The bolded words are pure wickedness.
How I wish that all diasporans can read this your comment, particularly the bolded words: it would really reset their brains.

"Meagre $100", if saved and not sent to you ravenous wolves at home, over time, will grow into thousands and hundreds of thousands of dollars, which can actually help the sender to create better life for himself or herself rather than wasting it on ungrateful wicked recipients at home.

Lesson learned. cool

Thinking 100 dollars is like 100 naira is the stupid ridiculous thinking some Nigerians with entitled mentality from their family in Diaspora have.

90% of Nigerian diaspora in top western countries do not earn $5,000 /month after tax. That amount is like 80,000usd per annum before tax.

Is $5,000 like 5000 naira in your warped thinking?

Some of you will even start pressing calculator and converting to Naira like the individual will pay most of their bills with Naira.

Leave those struggling sissy men wailing in those videos, they are no different from ladies.

The pride of an African man is in his ability to take very good care of his family and even community without grumbling.

I speak as a pillar of many homes beyond my family and it gives me joy everyday knowing that I make positive impacts in the lives of many people. I don't care if they misuse my help or abuse it, I am doing it for the love of God and for the love of humanity and as a way of saying thank you to my God for helping me to succeed in life and not end up a pauper.

Whenever I feel like the load is much on me, I look around and think about my mates still struggling to feed twice a day and those still job hunting and those toiling day and night without much result and I draw strength from there by thanking God that He gave me the grace and favor to be who I am and where I am.

Only wicked people who mistakenly succeeded financially grumble about helping their family members and people in need. You think you are doing well financially by your own wisdom and smartness right? Pray you don't fall out of God or nature's favor, then you will realize that whatever you think you are today was only by God's grace and luck which some call destiny and not because you are smarter or wiser or more hardworking than others.

What care does the government give to babies? Those benefits you will never qualify for because you are hardworking and already earning above the income bracket for such, and when you are old and no longer able to pay taxes, your house is foreclosed and you sent to a care home to die?

What benefit are we really talking about? Does that exempt you from being soaked in debt at college, and have to pay up with 20-30 years of your post graduate years?

Is that the life you supporting? Africans work for money and live within those means. We don’t buy debt and will always own. At old age, we are at rest to settle with whatever we worked for.

People like Obi Cubana can never get broke again in Nigeria, but people like Chris Brown can go broke cos taxes will keep falling on them the moment they go broke.

The western worn society is a redefined slave market. It keeps you in your toes till death, and at the end of the day, you own nothing, and another debt might even be secured for burial.
Now they already planning to increase retirement age to 65-70 😀😀😀😀. Work till you hit the grave!
