😂😂 Just like in the future when Jpes fade, you go say you found him out long time ago. If e happen like that, we go clap for you.

But in the here and now, all that matters na make we win this tournament. Many people know the coach's limitations but now that we have climbed this iroko tree, we must come down with all the firewood we need.

Moffi, Awoniyi,Boniface and Iheanacho were available during our last international break when Osimhen was injured... What did they even do? Only Iheanacho stepped up...

Anyone with common football knowledge will recognize the role Osimhen is playing in this team and would understand why it's unadvisable to drop him... The only thing I advocate for is that he ahould be subbed off when necessary..

Its not really surprising that the people at the forefront of the "drop Osimhen" campaign are those who never rated him in the first place...

See our chief football scout wey talk say he wont make the youth team of a championship club..the same scout that has refused to differentiate club form from national team form with regards to Iheanacho.. na bad belle dey do them...

Osimhen wey JPes say ask the opposition defenders. They suffer. Man na menace. I agree totally with you jare.

You'll be a terrible coach sha u don't go start Moffi at a time like this even though I want him to play. He should be the magic sub instead

Moffi should only come in for Oshimen like in the last 20 minutes not Onauchu.

Oshimen should start but the game should end with Moffi or Musa if we are chasing a counter

Awoniyi is only CF that can give us paltry Osimhen style.....Awo in Afcon would have give us real last 20 minutes tormenting coming in as sub.....I don't think Moffi and Onuachu can do it cuz I don't see reason why Peseiro will keep very tired Osimhen till 90 minutes.

Osimhen is very much like Darwin Nunez... They both have a reputation for missing easy chances and scoring hard ones...and their work rate is insane..
Liverpool fans often complain of Nunez missing chances, but they can't deny that he contributed well in other aspects..for instance, after our loss to Arsenal yesterday, it was revealed that all the games we have lost this season were the ones Nunez didn't start....that shows how important he is to the team..

Okocha was asked by Arisetv correspondent that of all the AFCON we have won plus this one(if we win it), which is the most important.

Without hesitation Okocha said this one because we need it now as a nation. Na why all talk about JPes defect no bother me oo. You see me talk about sweet football again? Naaa, make we just win. Naija needs it. Our nation needs some joy. We can talk defects later

Stopped being OTT and overcome with emotive sentiment.

Moffi is not underperforming in his league and club and neither is VO.

The striker's primary responsibility is to score anything else is an advantage. VO is struggling to score, Moffi should be given a chance to show what he can do .

At least for the first half and if he scores them he stays and takes the accolades.

As it stands AFCON defender have got VO marked and he is struggling to score one goal in 5 games is not good for him or the SE.
osimhen has two disallowed goals, 6 big chances missed. There is no way you can look at these stats and your conclusion is that he has been subdued by defenders.its almost as if you have not watched him during this tournament.

Let’s not deceive ourselves many people are just waiting for the eagles to fail either at the semis or finals to finally nail the coffin of Paseiro especially the anti Oshimen gang. Even if we win Afcon he will still receive the keshi treatment. Paseiro should leave after Afcon whether he wins or not. Am sure he will, he not signing the contract extension is a signal. Dude don upgrade im cv.

That's how it is. It's only in their absence that certain players are appreciated. The fear Osimhen puts in the hearts of the opposition team is a great psychological weapon.

I just thank God Osimhen is a Nigerian. For me, at this stage I deeply appreciate all the players. Their effort is really something to be proud of.

Successful manager's try different things they don't do the same thing all the time.

The most important thing in football is opportunity. If Moffi is not given the opportunity to show what he can do , HOW WILL WE KNOW if Moffi can do better or even comparable.to VO.

Moffi is a different from VO let's try something different, it's very simple. We are not saying don't play VO, but we should try Moffi , for the first half and then VO in the second half.

No. We will not try him in the first half and bring in VO second half. Go and give him the opportunity in one of your borough teams

Moses is not good but he won motm twice, habi!?

Na only your eyes you see Moses is not good offensively to peg back the SA fullback.

So, it's Iheanacho that can peg back full back. I thought you said we are not using wingers.

Do you think I didn't see your post before you modified? grin

Olodo tactician. grin
Simon Moses is Nigeria best player so far.....have watched Nigeria Angola three times and there was one particular moment Simon sprinted back to recover ball that Sanusi lost, very impressive.

We have not conceded since we adopted the 3-4-3 formation in this tournament.

Osimhen can instigate a come-back.

Peseiro has been doing well,it's no fault of his that Yusuf who should have paired Iwobi limped off injured against EQG.

Iwobi and Onyeka has built a very good Chemistry in this tournament, so it's too late to drop either of them.

He has been correct with his defensive subs ,but that of Onuachu is just a sub to hold on to a lead.
For me bring in Aribo for Onyeka in our last game wasn't a good defensive sub in my view.

Members of the team traveled from Abidjan to Bouaké today via a 10pm Air Cote D'Ivoire flight. Osimhen did not however make the trip as a result of an abdominal discomfort. Team medics confirmed that he has been placed under close watch with a member of the medical team staying behind in Abidjan with him. If cleared by tomorrow morning, he will join the rest of the squad before 5pm.

Osimhen has been poor yen yen, I pray he recovers, because Omoh, just his name alone, deflates your opponents confidence by 50%.

I wonder how some people analyze football, whether Messi or Ronaldo is scoring or not, them being on the pitch gives their team an edge, and that’s what osimhen does, who born any defender to calm down pass ball or calculate long passes with osimhen around, that’s the fear factor, and that’s why we have been edging other teams.

I can only pray he recovers, because if osimhen doesn’t play , lol, we might win, but that percentage just went down…

Ogbeni,park..

oga make una calm down for all this history wey una dey carry come abeg…your sounding asif its it’s something that has happened more times like 4 to 5times…this type of record applies when talking about meeting Cameroon in a final match, or meeting Argentina and always losing…we lost won SA in 2000 semifinal and lost in final to cameroon, we beat SA in 2019 quarterfinal and lost to Algeria…na only those two times it happened, stop making an issue out of it…na so one person come say remind of another record of Ekong not winning semifinal matches..like say ekong don play 10semifinal matches for us

Is Onyedika related to Ifeanyi Onyedika of 1980 AFCON?

Personally nobody from the 80s afcon set should be running our football again. Not cos they aren't good, but time don change. Especially the game itself. Some wan turn Del Bosque with national jobs even when it is obvious there are more qualified candidates.
