zanshi:You see!! That's the problem they don't listen. That amount can start a good business here in Nigeria. |

Mrclement1:The best form of japa is via work visa, which is arranged by the company and the person has gone through a standard recruitment process. Study visa is best for those with max three years of work experience. After that, any study visa is best done with scholarship. Examples are MBA programs. Don't sell your propati. Most will return to Nigeria in the next five to seven years. P.S. Your story sounds fictitious judging by your date of registration. |

tensazangetsu20:But don't they plan these things It seems people plan after getting the money (in naira o), not before and project stiffer immigration rules alongside their plans. |

delkuf:When you japa, you will still miss home..no matter what you faced here. At the end of the day, there is a part of you that will always consider Nigeria home, even if it's just to retire at old age or visit |

maternal:Well, not everybody's family in Nigeria are vultures like yours. Properties I left in Nigeria are still there, and my family is taking care of them. Thank God I was wise not to sell them off! And sorry for your loss. It really affected you psychologically, and it shows in your painful character and bitterness!! |

Nice2023:The man has so much bitterness and hatred for nigeria but he forget at retirement you cAnnot live in that old people home or live inthe cold weather ..many still return to nigeria at old age .the man need some mental evaluation of himself as the hatred for his family is taking away is logical reasoning on everything! |

Almost everyone who is planning to japa knows that in the beginning, they would get survival jobs and menial jobs before the either pass their certification exams or start a business and find their footing. So, it is a process, most people who are driven to make something of their lives in Western countries eventually become better off than when they were in Nigeria. Mrclement1: |

orjohn24:My hater fans have arrived. Mad they are working minimum wage jobs, while others are striving. Bad Belle ! Saying the truth is hatred for naija ? Why are you on this section of this message board if you love naija ? Hatred for family. Who holds everyone responsible for one person's actions. If you cannot live in that old peoples home or cold weather how are others doing it, with a higher life expectancy than the seniors in naija ? Who returns to naija with the 4th world Healthcare there ? You are a comedian my guy. |

CheedyJ:I love the comparison.... relocating to the UK is like relocating from village to Lagos. No doubt .... it will take some struggling to get settled and start progressing and seeing constant improvement in status. That's the path for many .... especially those who did their due diligence. But for the majority .... who just came loaded with hope and dreams ... after yearssss ..... are still struggling to keep their heads above water .... and many have fallen off .... the ones we see living under bridge ... or have become nuisance... roaming the streets and living a life of crime .... no going back from whence they came .... because they have sold everything and relocated. Same applies to those who migrate to the UK ... especially without correct papers. Hope for the best .... be prepared for the worst. If you fail to prepare then be prepared to fail. |
