Okay I got my emotions in check.

Here is my prediction:

We would need 2 goals to see out CIV in regulation time. Else, forget it.

No, we are not forgetting anything. Instead, we are winning the tournament – 2 goal or not – regulation time or not.

If we win afcon, dude is a top contender for the mvp

He deserves it. All his goals have been crucial for us. The South African commentators have even taken note of him.

As a matter of fact, it was a picture of his face alongside an Ivorian player that they put up to promote the final match against Cote D'Voire. Well deserved, if you ask me.

Another win we had today is that our players who were at the risk of missing the finals if they had gotten another yellow all came out unscathed. Come Sunday, we will be parading our full squad as usual.

Cc Solonnachi

Onyeka won’t miss the final.

The All Progressive Congress (APC) governors showed solidarity and support for the national football team, greatly lifting the Super Eagles’ morale ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) encounter. Notably, on February 7, 2024, these governors made a combined donation of N200 million, demonstrating their dedication to advancing Nigerian athletes to the top of their sport.

Imagine South Africans win us tufiakwa.

I don observe Ghanaians comment nor even many again, grin grin grin....them don tire, all our opponent way them day cheer seem to fail, cheesy

But if Nigeria win this afcon he go be the sweetest afcon ever,...we got to laugh Ghana getting eliminated In group stage while equaling their afcon numbers, and we settled scores with countries like Cameroon and South Africa on the way

I was surprised to see people here saying Onyeka will miss the final. I and a friend checked all the yellow cards awarded since the Cameroon game and discovered Onyeka just got one today, it was Aina, Simon, and Bassey that had yellow cards before today and none of them had cards today so all our players barring injuries are available for the final

Una sha know say Yusuf caused the penalty for South Africa. He also would have been at fault if South Africa had scored that rebound. Fortunately for us they ballooned it.

It seems we’ve found our keeper for WCQ.

Let’s win this Afcon and then focus on getting maximum points in our remaining WCQ matches of 2024.

Again, we have to take our chances. Had Lookman scored to put us up 2-0, that late penalty scare from SA would have been null and void.

But it was good for us to win on PKs. We now have confidence in Nwabali

I had a chat with a southie friend on fb and bobo confessed that he didn’t see his team winning us

That they re playing more to the gallery and that we Dey play business/tournament football with experienced and exposed players plying their trade in top tier European leagues and clubs

That the edge we had was that we had big game players that were not in any form of pressure playing in a game of this magnitude

Baba even confess say their keeper no good just that CV players made him seem like prime Peter Cech 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The guy was so pained on why their players don’t leave their league to play and gain experience/exposure in europe. He said that SA players do hv offers from good leagues/clubs in europe but refuse to leave their league if the difference in pay is around 5k-10k euros.

I tell am say that is the issue with SA national team and the reason they won’t achieve anything in global football. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

all Facts sotey Trevor Noah don use am analyze why they never succeed in comical fashion.

CIV has a good fairytale story to tell if.. We will need to work twice as hard to beat them again in the same tournament in front of their fans. Which is why we have to bury our chances and score no less than 2 goals to outscore them.

Omeruo a great ball playing defender. Wish he had the athleticism of Ajayi. Else should be starting. Ajayi’s passes is a big minus for us.

Am not giving myself many headaches about this final, whoever wants it more will win on Sunday. We had a big scare with this semi-final match but thanks to our keeper. One thing I must commend though is the mental strength of our players despite all SA thrown at them. Another team would have collapsed totally in extra time knowing how SA won the previous match. That mental strength from our boys may be the edge hoping all other factors work out for us in the final.

I must commend the attitude of Moffi, Iheanacho, and even Omeruo coming in as substitutes in such a tense match and at the time they came in. They were virtually thrown into the fire and they were very productive, now that's one major thing I have never seen in a Super Eagles team for a long time. Perhaps destiny is truly knocking at the door.
