Nigeria’s Super Eagles have only reached the AFCON final at home once since 2000, winning in 2013. They are aiming for their fourth title in Cote d’Ivoire.

They trounced Cameroon and Angola with just one goal conceded, while Nigeria will face South Africa, which needed a penalty shootout to defeat Cape Verde

The All Progressive Congress (APC) governors showed solidarity and support for the national football team, greatly lifting the Super Eagles’ morale ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) encounter. Notably, on February 7, 2024, these governors made a combined donation of N200 million, demonstrating their dedication to advancing Nigerian athletes to the top of their sport.

People are protesting that there is no food to eat; these ones are sharing allocation money.

Big ups to moffi. He was the first to take the pk and his calm demeanor should be studied.

Imagine missing the first pk. Respect to Terem. He took it like it was nothing. Man was very calm and composed and slotted it home very coolly. And after Aina missed his penalty kick, he showed true leadership by running to encourage him.

Although Nwabali gave Nigeria a spot in the finals, and he's light years ahead of Uzoho, he needs to work on punching shots to safe areas instead of dangerous spots
SA could have wrapped up the game if the free kick Nwabali punched to the path of the SA player had been buried
This was not the first time our GK did this in this tourney clearly this is his weak point which he must address quickly to make him formidable goalie
Congrats Nwabali
Congrats SE
Congrats Nigeria

2 Pk and 1 red card and yet no one can blame the refs ,it’s not hard to spot good officiating ,and afcon have been top notch for this

Lastly ,E no go better for those useless epl and Laliga refs

World Cup >> Afcon >>>> Copa America >>> euros

This is my ratings ,euros might be the second in terms of levels and organizations, but I am going with this ratings from myself
The officiating in this match was fair. We all saw the fouls with our own eyes

Okay I got my emotions in check.

Here is my prediction:

We would need 2 goals to see out CIV in regulation time. Else, forget it.

😂😂😂 This is funny. Show me since this tournament start how you predict scorelines and it happened. No be to predict winner oo.. Scoreline.

So if we don't score two goals, then go win us.

Like I calculated, our ranking has gone to 28th, I calculated 25th if we won, but we drew and won on PKs so the winning factor was 0.75, not 1, which is why we're on 28th now 💪🏾

Back in the world's Top 30! 🦅🇳🇬❤️

If we win Côte D'Ivoire 🇨🇮, we should be on 24th or 25th! If we win on penalties, 26th at most! Leggo boys! Na process 😤

Congratulations to all Super Eagles 🦅 fans 💚

I followed Stanley Nwabali on Instagram after our first game against EQG and he was on 6K followers and following 8k 😂

I've been watching his followers grow after each game and now he's on 42K, he don even use 3hrs unfollow 5K people, people no safe for safe hands hands again 😂
I posted this like three days ago, 42K followers, man is now on 217K followers 💚🦅😤

His followers were reading 100 new follows per second after the match, once I refresh, 100 new followers don add, I do am from 88K followers to 100K in less than 7 minutes 😳

Man has used one tournament to surpass Oyinbo signee everywhere, on the pitch, off the pitch and on social media! Nwa-ball ⚽🧤🛡️

DESTINY CHILD!! May God bless Mr. Jude Anyadufu, the Sporting Director of Enyimba FC… NWABILI was unfortunately relegated from the NPFL with Go-Round FC of Portharcourt in 2018. But Mr. Jude saw he is something special in the games he kept for Go Round FC and so didn’t allow him to go down and signed up for Enyimba FC to start as 3rd choice keeper behind LEKE and FATAHU DAUDA (a Ghana International Goalkeeper)… the rest they say is history!! The Enyimba head coach, Usman Abdallah trust him and made him Number 1 and when he left Enyimba to Wikki and later Katsina Utd he always goes with Nwabili as his top keeper … Now in the Super Eagles setup, at the AFCON Nwabili is first choice while LEKE is the 3rd choice …. That’s life ….

At d beginning of the tourney, I mentioned this as his weakness. Reason I called for inclusion of Igoh Ogbu. Ajayi is good against teams that apply low block. That way he will have time to screen his area before making a pass. But becomes a problem against teams with high press. Either he gives a wrong pass in dangerous area or he commits a foul. It has happened at least twice or more before the SA game.

Na Ajayi be next scapegoat bá?! Una want Zaidu out, he was out and reality checked in. So na Ajayi our in-house Coaches want out now?!

Like you folks are with them at camp, or know better than Paseiro and his coaching crew. This was how majority on this thread wrote off the team before the tourney began, today they are in final stage.

Make una dey calm down with beer parlour analysis. Na Chuks, Aribo, Musa and Awaziem, Bruno need to be replaced for now not Ajayi and co.
