no doubt about that but it won’t be easy and if he turns us down I won’t be pained nor surprised

England is not looking his way now because of Chelsea's position in the league and he is just coming back from injury.

There's no arm in trying now. If he snub us, we move. Shikena.

Am thinking this is why Chippa United made that statement supporting the Eagles over SA, apart from marketing strategies for Nwabali, that Chippa United's statement smells of beef against the national team selection of SA with majorly sundown players.
You are right

England doesnt go after player for the now but for the future

He is an integral part of their u21 set up and if he get back to his form before he got injured he will for sure get a chance in the 3 lions team in the nearest future

Unpopular Opinion; Nwakali would have done a better job than Iwobi with 3 - 4 - 3 formation. Note he is naturally a deep-lying playmaker. He is capable of scanning every corner of the pitch and so good at long range passes.

Osimhen wouldn't be that starved with Nwakali in the middle.

It's not easy especially with the pressure but saying we should not be calling out the players for not doing enough is a joke
And who says oyinbo only appreciate make Roy Keane or Alan shearer catch you on your bad day you go hear am

very possible based on current form but I think the edge ndidi may hv over Onyeka is his new found ability on the ball

But Onyeka na machine. Pure armored tank with engine to run non stop for 120 mins

Is Ndidi not inform? You've said it all. Ndidi edge him on his ability on the ball and his passes.

He's not there to impress you. He's there to do proper defending and he's the best we have for now.

We can agree to disagree. I will start Bruno ahead of no ball sense Zaidu.

By the way , I think you are giving the credits that goes to Calvin and Zaidu to Zaidu alone. Bassey has defended that left side more efficiently than Zaidu

What is our plan B when opponents decide to double mark our wingers?

Seems some teams have mastered this against us and it seems to be very effective.

Tunisia used the tactic to devastating effect the last time and we just saw SA used the same and it worked.

What exactly can we do differently when teams decide to neutralize our wingers?

we've had a midfield crisis for so long, it's about time we fixed that just the way we have fixed the goal-keeping crisis, I think we have deceived ourselves for so long that since we have attackers we can overlook the midfield but that's our weakest link now waiting for a solution. Traditionally from the Eagles of old, we use the wings but still, we had great midfielders in the past, and am sure there are still midfielders somewhere waiting to be discovered like we discovered Nwababli. Operation fix the midfield

we hv midfielders just that folks here want zizou, iniesta, Xabi, Scholes and Kroos kinda midfielders

We should learn to work with what with hv

A nation that can boast of midfielders listed below shouldn’t be crying

Onyeka
Ndidi
Iwobi
Alhassan
Onyedika
Fisayo Bashiru
Michael Folorunsho

This makes my day brighter. What a phenomenal player. I am wondering how Ndidi will displace this workhorse
