How come no deaths of cardiac arrests was reported in South Africa during the match?/

They were underdogs. Nigerians put so much pressure on the match, some were even predicting 7:0. Imagine how he will feel after 120mins

This also points to the facts that Nigeria has a rapidly aging population with poor health care systems, may the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace

West Africans eat lots of stuff that produce difficulties in their body, making blood circulation, heart beat, respiration hard. Diabetes, HBP, cancer and heart attacks are issues with them.

Could you please speak to your doctor before you gorge yourself on that pounded yam and goat meat?

You are 100% spot on

South africa πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦ really gave good account of themselves. Let tell ourselves d truth. The result could have gone either way. I love their transition, d way dey attack and defend. Just dat someone must win and it was Nigeria πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬

What South Africans lack is international football exposure. I would love their players to move to top leagues in Europe

S/Africa league is very good but it can't be compared to leagues in Europe .

Very valid point. Let's start with our diet and tackling sedentary lifestyle. A car with AC is seen as luxury! Stereotypical views that those who treck or cycle to work are poor, so most people would rather sit in Airconditioned cars, to Airconditioned office all day long, and be driven back home in AC cars. Vegetables and fruits are hardly in diet, rather fatty foods such as pomo, beef, goat meat, plenty oil palm, etc etc is the daily routine causing atherosclerosis. Nutritionists ain't doing enough to educate people. Our diet is just too heavy! HBP remains a major Public health challenge.

Reading about even more death. If the coach didn't make the wrong substitution that brought in Yusuf, we wouldn't be talking about all the deaths. Within few minutes of play after his introduction, Yusuf got us a dangerous free kick and carelessness tackled that resulted in the penalty. That's football for you. It was the coach that made our players to suffer and many Nigerians to experience heart attacks.

The cause of various Nigerians death shld be placed on yusuf head

I think the affected families should sue him and demand billions as hefty compensation

Had he not conceded that reckless penalty, this people would not have lost their lives. RIP to the departed souls

That was on a lighter note though. Incidence like this happens. It was never the intention of Yusuf to get a penalty against Nigeria πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬

Yusuf is good. And he will only get better

Good that they know now so that they may improve their games in the grand finale to forestall further death. We know it ain't easy but surely they can do better than last time out.

Hindsight is 20/20. Is the coach God that he would have predicted what Yusuf would do? Let's stop the blame game abeg, it's not nice. Every player on that field gave their all, played with their hearts, mistakes notwithstanding.

From 2 - 0 to 1 - 1. How will people not die? This VAR is both a blessing and a curse.

Seriously, it wasn't funny.

I was following the match on Nairaland and had to leave my phone to do something. When I clicked the next page, I saw 1-1 and I was surprised.

From 2-0 to 1-1, wetin happen? I was confused for some seconds. So I can imagine the pain the deceased felt.
