They literally owned the sport as a whole

Remove usa and they’ll be no basketball

In terms of women basketball the rest of the world are 30 years behind

In terms of male basketball usa is ahead of the world with like 10 years
True. But I was not expecting that gap to be so wide.

The money is small. How much is 8b viz a viz daunting financial demands?
Just teams alone o. But if to run NFF join, it's paltry for monthly expenditure imo. 27bn for the ministry of sports is tiny. They need to add a 0 in front of 27 or at most 200.

Negative spirit fans and home based journalist practically gave him mental issue and cant cope with our negativity as people.
His contract ends on sunday and he is not renewing it.
We will win Afcon as he promised but we not qualifying for the World Cup.
ChrisKels:
What's JPez's contract situation? We need some level of continuity to be able to navigate the world cup qualifiers, with what I have seen of the SA team.

if we win come sunday . Omeruo and Ahmed Musa will become the only SE players that have won the Afcon twice . i oray it happens so that Musa can go and rest ... in fact after the nations cup he should leave the team for good.

How Iwobi racked up over 70 caps still baffles me.

After all the complaints, there's a reason he still starts games, no one in the team currently offers what he does.

How will the Prize money be disbursed when we win?

That money is enough to make all the national teams run efficiently and fluidly for next 2-3years.
World Cup group stage prize money for 2022 is more than the AFCON winner pize money cry

Its high time they scrap this third place match of a thing. It makes no sense. Its better you lose and go home than making the losers go through another rigors of contesting for an insignicant position

the prize money is for the team and development of football for the country that wins . so why should they scrap it ... this has been the rules from the onset

This is factually incorrect. The world isn't 30 years behind in Women's basketball. Belgium nearly beat the US just yesterday and lost by 2 points mainly cause of a ref bad call (Kelsey Plum was out of bounds). The US obviously is world champion but the difference frankly isn't much anymore. Countries like France, China, Japan, Germany, Canada etc have great teams that will give the US a run for their money.

For the men, the US men's team literally lost at the last Men's World cup.

Don’t fret no country is close to us women when it comes to basketball

The problem with the women team unlike the men is that they carry over beef to the national team women and drama 5&6
stars rather play with them club teammates than their wnba rivals in the same team it seems you don’t don’t follow wnba that’s the highlight of drama and pettiness

The gap is closing because European based female ballers are now playin in the nba

Because epl is 100 years ahead of Npfl

Doesn’t mean the England current national team is 100 years ahead of super eagles

With current affairs England national team is barely 5 years ahead of super eagles in terms of quality

The I’m even being generous

Both male and female European Asia and African basketballers if they didn’t come to the nba or wnba

They would like the proper training and nutrition they would be 1 century behind 😂

A Nigerian journalist asked CAF president, Patrice Motsepe: 'when can Africa host the World Cup again?'

The CAF president replied: "Nigeria must put in a bid. The Nigerian president (Bola Tinubu) is coming to watch the final on Sunday...I will have a conversation with him about it " Motsepe said.

I agree 👍🏿 he put the other nine outfield players in wheel barrow and carried them through every match.

You have a wonderful analytical mind.

I highly disagree. Our team performance has been a collective and not individual effort. For example, for all his work ethic, never say die attitude, hustle etc you can’t claim that osimehn has been more important than Lookman on this team. This team is a clear team effort

I don't follow the WNBA? Lol

First, I watch more women's basketball than I do men. I know what I am talking about. I know everybody on the US roster and those who didn't make it and you statement is factually wrong. Even the US women's team won't say that. They are world champions, but to claim no country comes close is false. Just gave you an instance of a game played just yesterday (that I watched live by the way). Again you didn't factually disproof anything I said.

As per pettiness? You need to go watch the NBA documentary on what happened between USA and Spain. Spain and the US men's team were rivals even though Kobe and Pau Gassol who were "brothers" were playing for the same team (Lakers). That was the height of pettiness. Also compared to the women, you have more foreigners playing in the NBA than you the the WNBA, again facts isn't on your side.
