Stumbled on an American website reporting this crash and 90% of the comments were just disgusting, making mockery of the dead, talking about how can he afford to go watch the super bowl when everyone is starving in Nigeria. Lot's of jokes about the Nigerian prince that will now send them e mail to transfer his wealth and on and on it goes. Don't understand why Africans show sympathy to this bastards when they suffer tragedy. |

Helicopters show no mercy when they crash. For there to have been five crashes last year, he/they should've taken the hint and stop getting on that helicopter, or just get on a plane and fly first class. It's not by force to use helicopter, smh. I know they're faster than planes but your lives are more important than the speed at which you will get to your destination.

The Aircraft has a terrible history of air mishaps. They really need to look into the safety measures on this chopper. I thought the seats where designed to be crash-proof in a way. One of the flaws pointed out with this chopper is its non-protective fuel tanks- Generally, choppers are safer to fly with unlike what has been portrayed by some here. Its cabin are mostly built like a protective cage to give support on impact. It's the leaking fuel after that impact that is of worry. I will never get on these Helicopters, no way.
That's why I refused to go to the Grand Cayon on one of these from Las Vegas while on vacation. There are just too many accidents with these Choppers. They happen more frequently than most people know. Most are only reading about it when a popular individual is involved but I always read about them going down frequently. I rented a car and drove to LA in place of the Helicopter ride. |

Airplane do have recovery.. if one engine fail the pilot could switch to the good engine etc.. Lots of maneuver with Airplane but not with helicopters. |
