One day I went to my panel beater to help fix my leaking exhaust.

Then i told him I wanted to buy rice for Sunday use but i was shock when they told me N250 per cup a local rice. He shouted N250? He said its a lie they want to cheat you. Then i ask him how much he think is a cup now… he said it should be N50 to N60 and if its too much maybe N70. Then i burst into laughter the way he was so serious.

Then i ask him when last he bought rice. He said he doesn’t know again oh na him wife de buy all those things. All those things nor concern him.

It just seems to me some men are lucky. Because if this man is giving his wife money for food stuff he would have known by now that a cup of local rice is heading 300 and other food items as well.

He does... I don't know the price of foodstuffs at market... Month end I send someone or my sister to buy and stuck my house with foodstuffs, I only know things are adding up... So I increase the budget from 40k to 60k. They are telling me e b like I will need to add 20k to make it 80k for next month food stuff budget.

Do you know when last a cup of rice was 60 or 70 naira? Trust me, if he drops money he WILL know.

At least you are aware and increasing your budget. This guy has no clue.

Your panel beater is a Tinubu supporter. Nothing fazes them. When other Nigerians are groaning they are smiling because their BAT supplies them all their needs.

not every body knows oh. Some people are unaware of foodstuffs oh.

The guy might just drop something to the wife and they wife will add her own money without disturbing him or talking much. And besides he will only eat at night. Morning and afternoon he eat in the shop. Or he might not even eat at all.

Most of these Artisans wives Fuucks around to cater for their family and in many cases their husbands are aware.
