Although, no player should be bullied at all but how are our fans bullying iwobi and allowing chukwueze to go free? When, chukwueze didn’t do anything worthy

Chukwueze is the one that headed the corner kick cross towards Ekong that Ekong scored which means Chukwueze made an assist and that makes him go free..

if iwobi had made an assist or tried to press opponents and make tackles he may have gone free but he stood still and was ball watching while the people around him were closing down opponents, pressing and making tackles..

point is, iwobi probably had the most un-used energy and stamina in that final and he did not use it.

in summary, iwobi played as if he was bribed not to press and tackle players but people only noticed in that match because more people watched the final but in previous matches iwobi was also doing the same thing of not pressing and tackling players..

all iwobi does is to pass to Sanusi or Simon who then runs with the ball on the LW and then crosses when in reality its iwobi that's meant to run with the ball and make through passes to Osimhen..

In this AFCON, Onyeka was the AM, CAM, CM and DM.. I don't know what iwobi did apart from pass to Zaidu or Simon.. I know he took some shots...

he was poor at this AFCON.

Hopefully when he gets to Fulham he starts running around and pressing again...

No, they are planning several signings. Osimhen has his style. He won’t thrive in just any team.

komekn:

Why do you think so 🤔

Objective appraisal based on attributes comparison and the nature of the EPL .

You are already making excuses even before he has arrived considering the bold.

That makes your proposition contradictory.

Once there's no credible source, most Facebook posts on Nigerian football are likely false.

I like to see a front line of Lookman, Osimhen, Nathan Tella.
Sanusi, Iwobi, Chukwueze needs to get benched

It seems the afcon has been moved to August 2025 so as not to clash with FIFA club world cup.

And then it will in turn clash with resumption of Europe's calendar.

Afcon viewership this year was mad. Whatever the organisers did to make this Afcon a global spectacle needs to be sustained subsequently.

The next year edition is in Morocco, I won’t be surprised to see lots of Europeans on summer holiday in Morocco next year because of Afcon. Flights tickets are very cheap for Europeans to Morocco. The Moroccans will surely take advantage of this.

The North Africans too will suffer because their clubs that'd participate in the CWC produce the bulk of their NTs.

Imagine finish CWC and running straight to AFCON

That second goal that haaland scored would had Been missed by osimehn. I used to tremendously hype him prior to Ghana vs Nigeria 2 legged game. Afterwards, I realized that he is just a power, never say die, warrior that flops in big game. I wouldn’t criticize him because he puts his life on the line for us with the amount of hustling that he does at game. He just needs to refine his style
Spaletti understood VO. In one of his comments he said that VO moves too much, that way he will not be ready when the opportunity comes. He gradually reduced his off the ball movement. And guess what VO picked up. The young man is suffering the same thing his former coach complained about.

This post is absolutely spot on

Frank onyenka returns as the most improved player

Bassey and ekong we already know their worth so nothing to prove

If only ndidi was healthy both him and onyenka work while iwobi breathes and focus only on forward plays

If only 😢

We need a De Bruyne
And we need crossers from the flanks
Kelechi Nwakali, Michael Olise, and Zaidu Sanusi can be relied upon for good crosses of the ball.

grin It takes bad belle to win afcon, ask Ivory coast how many Nigerians you see for stadium for final. There were more Nigerians outside the stadium than inside.

I bet you will see how the North Africans especially the host will do everything to win Afcon next year, club World Cup or whatever. Omo you never see anything,

Show us Haaland goals for his country. Let see how your Haaland would fair at the Euros first.

Let Haaland score Osi's type of goal against Roma or the header against Frankfurt then we can talk.

Comparing club football to National team footy is the silliest comparison ever!

Haaland can never give Osi's type of assist against Cagliari. So rest that talk!

You see am. This should be our midfield base moving forward until we scout better ball playing midfielders.

Ndidi and Onyeka in a double pivot to cover the hard yards. Iwobi as a 10 to relive him of defensive duties and just focus on playing in our strikers.

You all overate this EPL of a thing too much. Awoniyi, Adebayo, Watkins, are scoring regularly in that overrated league.
Osimhen has played against them 4 times and simply destroyed them.
Joebie:
Osimhen will perform exceedingly well in the EPL. But he needs a reset before he takes up that challenge IMO.

Yes he can do as well, it all depends on how they set up the team since they have different playing styles.
