forgiveness:

Na striker dey mess up Chelsea. That's why they are the number in biggest missed chances in EPL.

Are you saying Chelsea doesn't have the potential to win EPL and Champions league? grin

Some coaches in EPL have seen the handwritten on the wall hence declaring intention to run away.

You Sabi watch ball
Man effectively turned Osimhen to a forward placed defender..
It's testament to Osimhen's quality that he was decisive in those games, scoring, assisting and causing pks
That's right. The chap is truly world class.

We scored eight goals and he was one way or another involved in six of them.

Iwobi is not a holding MF oooo. That was the fault of the coach playing him in that role.

A 3-5-2 where Iwobi plays in front of a midfield pairing of Ndidi/Onyeka or Onyeka/Yusuf would be fine.

It’s like putting Osimhen at RB and expecting him to perform like Ola Aina.

Different profile of player than what is needed in the role
That is not the case bro, you don't get it.

Iwobi does not mark! And Playing you "off position" doesn't mean you should be a minus- one when your team is defending.

I strongly believe that if he was subbed off when we were still leading, we wouldn't have lost that game. We would have either held on or penalty shootout decides the winner.

JP really sucked him dry like a discarded orange. At a time I fretful about his health especially after the Angola game.

opes:
Napoli even said Osimhen lost about 4kg weight, Peseiro really overused him.

Exclusive: Osimhen has reached verbal agreement with PSG.

Wonder where that news came that he wouldn't move back to France.
TheLoneCitizen:

Agreed.

The deal he agreed with PSG actually makes him one of Africa's highest earners, but it's still not up to half of what Saudis offer.

Still only greed will make him move to Saudi during the best stanza of his career.

Only problem is PSG cannot sign him without balancing their books, so they've given him a date.

Put Haaland in that situation, and he might not even score a goal. Does that mean Haaland is not world-class? See how Osimhen worked with Spaletti and how he excelled. Tactical setup plays a big role in performances.

You are effectively saying that VO is better than and or on the same level as Haaland.

And when I say a lot of you are blinded by emotions sentiment and favouritism, you will say I am a hater.

Instead of you talk about the player's individual attributes you are talking about managers Spaletti.

This was how when KC was impotent you were blaming all the managers in Leicester and limited game time.

Kelechi Nwakali, Michael Olise, and Zaidu Sanusi can be relied upon for good crosses of the ball.

You should not put Olise in the same sentence as the other two it's an insult.

You all overate this EPL of a thing too much. Awoniyi, Adebayo, Watkins, are scoring regularly in that overrated league.
Osimhen has played against them 4 times and simply destroyed them

Despite his tactics, osimehn missed couple of sitters and free headers. You guys just don’t want to admit because he is your fave but if it was another player, you would had pounced on that player. Remember, Lookman scored 3 goals in the same team. Osimehn needs to refine his game in order to truly be world class. He has a fighting spirit, a warrior, never say die attitude, hard worker. He just needs refining

I watched the game up close and personal.

Konate had him under lock and key, Van Dyke shepherded him out as well.

How many assists and goals did he get against Liverpool over the two legs please ❓

Please you are welcome to post the pictures of VO violating Van Dyke or VO out muscling and out pacing Konate or anything else.

You all need to come up with the full meaning of this 'marking' that has been going on for sometimes now on this thread. Iwobi does not mark yet we always concede goals anytime he is removed. Yea, he was not up to par against RSA and CIV so also are the other players on the field. But you all used the tired excuse for the others but not for Iwobi. SMH.

As for your last paragraph, I guess he was the one who caused that winning goal right?

The thing is Paul Onuachu doesn't have a guaranteed spot in the team. As of now, the strikers in conversation are Osimhen, Awoniyi, Boniface. Outside those, we have Moffi, Sadiq, Akor and Orban. The competition choke.

Those Aba boys (Badiashile and Disasi) you pack for defence ain't a big problem right? That your squad too rough. You have quantity but not quality. Remove Caicedo and Enzo and your midfield would be exposed. On the wing sef, only Sterling is the real quality. Forget bro, you need more than a Striker o

In the course of the AFCON, I really felt for Osimhen. Peseiro was literally working against him while selecting the midfielders for the tournament.

Osimhen lost big chances. Nevertheless, he still tried.

What about Fofan, Tiago & Colwill? Injury has been the major problem. Stop talking about quantity.

Do you mean Reece and Chilwell are quantity? grin how many RB and LB better pass dem for this world not to talk of EPL?

This one don forget we have Lavia, Chukwuemeka and Cesare Casadei (the winner of 2023 u20 golden ball and golden boat).

How many team has Caicedo and Enzo type of player in their team or can afford to leave dem out of the team?

What happened to osimehn at Afcon was a way for life to humble him because he was becoming to arrogant towards his team mates by yelling at them, raising his hands at any misplaced passes prior to Afcon. Afcon informed him to realize that, he isn’t much better than his teammates and should respect them. Humility is something you can’t evade because if you don’t humble yourself, God will humble you

I view it that way because that man really put his life on the line for us. He was running, hustling, never say die attitude and basically did everything right except scoring. Did you notice that, during the Afcon, he wasn’t yelling unnecessarily at his teammates
