Oga calm down. 90% of the whole raw material for cement production is sourced from Naija. Its only machinery maintenance and spare parts that are secured abroad. Is this enough reason to just increase the orice of cemennt abnormally? Why did Dangote stop production in 2 trains all of a sudden? Nigeria have given too many elites monopoly, thats what we are suffering right now. If everyone was given a level playing field, we wouldnt be in a fix right now.

The manufacturers are not the ones increasing price..


Govt should go after the key distributors and
middle men who are benchmarking the price of a local product against the dollar

Remove Tinubu and put hausa man in presidency and watch the prices of cement and noodles, semo etc come down. Nigeria belongs to Hausa and unless their person is in presidential villa they will make it ungovernable

In that case, it will be ungovernable for them too, after all they've been the ones protesting in recent days about hunger and hardship.

Why the increase if not wickedness?





Nigerian masses are the most wicked people on earth. As soon as they hear of increment they inflate prices immediately, but when it drops they feel reluctant to reduce the prices of commodities and most times it remains like that.

If FG increase pump price of PMS to N2000 now all filling stations will comply immediately, if they reduce it to N200 per litre the idiõts will start talking of old stock.......I don't blame government in everything, the masses are also one of the problems of Nigeria.

The wickedness in the land is too much.

I don't think it's the manufacturers that are behind this crazy increase, it's the middlemen, distributors that are inflating the pricing because of speculation.

Manufacturers can't increase cement by over 5 thousand naira per bagin a week.

Open Seme Border. Let foreign rice enter. Let foreign cement come in. I bet you, the price of cement will reduce to 3,500 per bag, and a bag of rice will reduce to 30,000.
Within 3 months we will see results.
Big businesses that are being protected by the Government will continue to take advantage of the masses, unless you create a level playing field.
It is such a shame!

Nobody has summoned them over the mass printing of the naira which led to the devaluation of the currency while wages remain thesame

Tax waivers like how?. Nobody is working in such companies that don't pay personal income tax. The companies are cash cows for state governments and you don't expect a company in debt to pay any corporate tax

Can you explain exactly how the fall in value of the naira affected their cost of production and to that level?

What is the source of your price increase?

Your power generation is not significant as you have coal mined from okaba and Okobo being used. So why the increase?

When BUA announced price reduction, People were happy. I laughed. The reality is that till the naira stables, they will keep adjusting price to meet current realities

Shale, gymsome, limestones and sandstone etc are all locally sourced for

Dangote is not the problem

BUA is not the problem

The problem is the Nigerian trader

In the morning, price of cement was 8k

By evening same day, price of cement was 9,500 naira

Nigerian traders are twice as greedy as dem Dangote

Solution is to monitor price in the markets and allow others come into the market.

How did you know that or are you now there Chief Spokesman or can't they just tell Nigerians- in their Briefing and we expect they also have the Major -Distributors at the Press briefings!
Too much Nonsense is going on in Nigeria!
- No Lights since My Adelabu- came as Minister of Power,despite the fact that everywhere is hot due to dry season!
his excuses - he wants to remove Subsidies on electricity!
- Tinubu just removed Subsidies on Fuel, without due proper planning,no single Functional Refineries yet!
- No Foods and the Foodstuffs Prices-is unimaginable High ,due to hyper -Inflations.e g -------------------------------------RICE- is this still a Staple Food,at N65,000 per bag?
-BEANS- Yellow -Ike is now N4,000.
-GARRI- Ijebu- is N32,000- per bag three weeks ago!
-YAM,
-CAT FISHES,
-BREAD NOT AVAILABLE and no longer a Staple Food on the Masses table!
