When last were those players you mentioned available? Half of those you mentioned are injury proned. How many matches has Lavia, Nkunku, Fofana and Reece played this season? Nothing dey that your team oga.

Nothing dey d team yet you listed them. Dey play. grin

For your information, Reece refusal to do surgery was the the cause of the recurrent injury but that is no longer the case because he has finally done it.

Which Nkunku bi injury prone? grin

Perhaps, only Fofana is injury prone. Like I said you don't know anything about Chelsea.

Despite his tactics, osimehn missed couple of sitters and free headers. You guys just don’t want to admit because he is your fave but if it was another player, you would had pounced on that player. Remember, Lookman scored 3 goals in the same team. Osimehn needs to refine his game in order to truly be world class. He has a fighting spirit, a warrior, never say die attitude, hard worker. He just needs refining

Completely agree
However remember Lookman got those goals because Osimhen took away the attention
When attention also came on Lookman, the goals dried up

The way JPes set us up, we were defensively strong but were never going to score a lot of goals

That's right. The chap is truly world class.

We scored eight goals and he was one way or another involved in six of them.

One word: impact!

Those Aba boys (Badiashile and Disasi) you pack for defence ain't a big problem right? That your squad too rough. You have quantity but not quality. Remove Caicedo and Enzo and your midfield would be exposed. On the wing sef, only Sterling is the real quality. Forget bro, you need more than a Striker o

Is Palmer a joke to you?

Osimhen lost big chances. Nevertheless, he still tried.
You're right about that. He partially has himself to blame for such disappointing goals return.

But that was mainly in the group stage. He was only getting less and less supplies as the matches proceeded, which must have been very frustrating for him.

Lots of big chances missed this season. Maybe u need forwards with excellent conversion rate.
Osimhen alone may not solve ur problems. grin I just dey pull ur leg

You're not a Chelsea fan so you don't know the problem. Problem is lack of prolific striker. EOD

Do you know how many big chances Jackson and Broja missed?

My only fear is Osimhen conversion rate.

The thing is Paul Onuachu doesn't have a guaranteed spot in the team. As of now, the strikers in conversation are Osimhen, Awoniyi, Boniface. Outside those, we have Moffi, Sadiq, Akor and Orban. The competition choke.

That is the person he can actually battle for a place with.

Forget Ladan bosso a very lazy under 20 coach.

He can't scout and have no tactics

The NFF is playing with our cadet teams that supposed to be chopping out talents every 2 years. Someone like Yobo, remo stars coach etc ought to be given the job to manage under 20 so as to gradually introduce them to managing the national team

You are effectively saying that VO is better than and or on the same level as Haaland.

And when I say a lot of you are blinded by emotions sentiment and favouritism, you will say I am a hater.

Instead of you talk about the player's individual attributes you are talking about managers Spaletti.

This was how when KC was impotent you were blaming all the managers in Leicester and limited game time.

You are just making up things.

I never said Osimhen is on the same level as Haaland. I am working with the premise of an undeniable world class player finding it difficult in the same position Osimhen found himself.

I am talking of Spaletti to enlighten you that tactical setups can improve or diminish players quality.

Finito.

I personally don't think Aribo was able to do much and was largely disappointing in my opinion.

But the question, is why ❓Aribo is about attacking and is more of AM. In a retrogressive negative defensive set up formation and strategy he cannot thrive so he will become almost useless.

In this AFCON l haven't done the stats but just from my own personal visuals. The player that instigated more attacks and forward passes, crosses resulting in an attacking opportunity was AINA.

That says something about the team set up itself.

We have decided to abslove VO of any criticism as an untouchable. Yes, VO huffed and puffed, chased and fought relentlessly but he could not blow the house down. He had several chances but fluffed his lines, we have overwhelmingly exonerated him of all responsibility here as an untouchable

VO is considered to be world 🌎 class by many here, for me the key component of world class is CONSISTENT OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE in all situations. In the AFCON like it or not VO did not perform world class. I wonder if Haaland, Benzema ,etc was in the Nigerian team would they have got just one goal 🥅🤔.

What about Salah?

Although, no player should be bullied at all but how are our fans bullying iwobi and allowing chukwueze to go free? When, chukwueze didn’t do anything worthy
My guy the reasons should be clear to you nah

Iwobi is the most experienced and has more pedigree than anyone else in that midfield. He's also part of the first 11. Meaning he by far saw more minutes and he also played every game.

And this: His ackadaisical attitude especailly when the team is fighting for the ball, which has proven to be the most irritating part didn't bid well for him, his forwards, and even the team as a whole.

As a midfielder, you're practically occupying one of the most sensitive positions on the field of play. Especially in the case of a two-man midfield.

He was also expected to be the basic creative outlet behind the forwards- linking the defense to the attack.

Dude really left much to be desired I tell you.

if we remove every sentiment and bias, this boy has earned the right to be entered into the convo. In fact we shouldn’t even be speaking o Sadiq Umar. Akor Adams has been experiencing a goal draught since notching 7 goals in Ligue . Who is REALLY better so far this season.

When players show interest in Nigeria, people will bring in bias. When they don’t declare na still problem. Do we really like progress?. By the way all the SE players that made the official AFCON XI are dual citizens who committed to us. Wetin we wan talk now?

ChrisKels:
I would pick this boy ahead of Paul Onuachu.
