To know what is happening/will happen in Nigeria, study these 5 countries over the last 3 years

Lebanon
Argentina
Egypt
Turkey
Venezuela

We are on course for a Lebanon/Argentina situation. Best case outcome will be an Egypt/Turkey situation, and worst case outcome is a Venezuela situation

How does one make money from an economy that's tanking? Like how can one take advantage of the whole situation, how does one bet against the Nigerian economy?

I believe some persons aren't politicians that would make serious bank as a result of this economic crisis we face...realmrsean, what's the way forward? The way you take dey celebrate rise in USD, you go don get reach 100K under your bed.

Exporting from Naija to CFA countries in the first instance, and then other stable currencies

We are officially ripe to go "from consumption to production"

Yea, I know exportation would boom in this current economy, like process stuff and send it out. I stumbled on a page that makes fine pieces of furniture on IG, like really proper US standard pieces with quality materials and I wonder how much such would go for in countries ready to pay in fx.

bro, crypto has been my hedge against this tinubunomics..

If naira like, make e reach 10k/$, I no send em papa..

The only good advice I can give you, if you have any money whether in naira or dollar, use it and buy any AI coin like
TAO
FET
XAI
SOLIDIUS AITECH
ETC

As artificial intelligence will lead this narrative of the bull run ..

But if you want to work in crypto, go and research how to farm airdrops, both testnets and retroactive airdrops..

Craftsmanship is a hard sell abroad. You have to create a "want" in foreign customers which usually involves advertising spend etc

What you want to be selling now are needs, cash crops etc

Leather
Gum (for rubber)
Palm Oil
Cocoa
Nuts
Charcoal

etc

This makes sense, although this light situation makes it difficult to move these sort of products especially if you want to send them out semi-processed, but if the difference between cost of USD to Naira is sufficiently larger than cost of fuel, it might still pay.

I was at Alaba past weekend, and the boom in sales of solar panels, inverters and related stuffs was mad, like where I stand for like 45 mins, almost like 60 aboki's pass dey wheel panels, inverters and batteries. Even persons that clearly were not selling solar related stuffs were sampling so they can source if you enter their shop.

The Russia-Ukraine war also led to disruption in the fertilizer and food market globally . If not that Dangote group dey channel most of its Fx towards the Dangote refinery , this would've been a good time for Dangote , Notore and other known manufacturer of Fertilizers in Nigeria to rake in serious FX Through increased production and sales of fertilizers in the international market .

If we focused on agriculture we would also be earning FX from selling grains. We just looose guard by over reliance on oil revenue

Did a little reading. Those coins have been on an upward trend since October/November last year. Will it not be better to wait for pullback?

These coins can be so rewarding financially. 400k invested in October/November in some of them is now worth more than 9m naira.

At the same time, if it reverses, oyo.

It seems the rains have come, we can begin to expect some improvement in electricity generation, it's followed same pattern for several years now...a dip from like October-February, then improvement from early March-August/September.

This last dip was especially bad, hopefully we're able to make plans on generation and distribution that keep things stable all year.

This is my fear of crypto, most of the projects feel like MMM, the early adopters make money and the late adopters are left holding the bag. It all still feels like ponzi in a sense, although there's the legacy coins like BTC and Ethereum that can be pointed at as maintaining stability.

True, it hasn't helped too that these Bandits, Boko Haram and herdsmen have made farming completely unattractive. Nairaland used to have a booming agriculture section those 2013-2017 era, even dabbled in poultry farming that year based off inspiration from that section, a lot of persons were making some solid income farming crops and animals.

lol, it seems you haven't experienced the magic money of crypto.. ask ibime..

I made ×200+ on a coin on Solana called whales market.. you can look up the chat, bought at 1m mkcp, shit now over 35-40m mktcp..

Bro, we have not even started bull run yet, the money has not yet started printing.. wait until BTC maxis starts rotating into alts.. then you'd know the full meaning of bull run..

On another note, you need to be careful and diligent as nothing is đŸ’¯ guaranteed..

Tinubu till 2090 cool

True, it's just MMM. Reason why I think it's best to avoid it when it's already making the highs. Those who bought low may just be dumping on you.

And most importantly is to put money you can afford to risk.

the milk is always for early adopters nau, even in stocks and real world assets, the early adopters are been favoured the most if they invest right...thats how it is everywhere..even in lands, if you buy a land in an underdeveloped area and it goes to develop, you milk most of the gain unlike who buys wheen the area has fully developed..
its why due diligence and research is always required

Even more. Some of them have done more than 500% increase. Add that to the devaluation of the currency from 1000 to 1750 and you'll arrive at that figure.

I will devote some time to it within the week.
