This is not the way out for falling naira.
Nigeria should join brics, make currency swap deal with China, trade your crude oil in naira, liquidate all customers bank dollars account to naira at a determined cbn rate, proscribe all bureau de change as a terrorist, ban the importation of petroleum products, allow few importation of food stuffs for a period to crash the market prices, block the north from using food commodities to play reverse politicism on the south.

.By going after them, it just displays how incompetent the CBN governor is.

He is doing all he can to stabilize the Naira but he is getting nowhere.

If dollar remains a scarce commodity it'll continue to skyrock in value, therefore, make it available in the banks so anyone won't have reason to patronise BDC

Don't plan, just do the needful immediately! Block Binance, Kucoin, and other crypto exchanges now. The manipulation is too much.

Well said. Personally I think Government should bring both bdcs and crypto platforms under control.

Bdc and crypto platforms should only quote rates approved by the government.the manipulation by these elements is too much.

If cbn rate is 1,000. Crypto platforms and bdc should quote a rate with a maximum premium of 5%, in this case 1,050.

It’s obvious you don’t know Nigerians. You don’t know what sabotages do in Nigeria. You must think Government hate the citizens at all times to not allow their own policies to work. No one sets out to fail some people frustrate them.

There are so many criminals in Nigeria hiding under some canopies. Govt can’t succeed if they don’t have the support of the citizens. People criticize them over everything without lauding any of their policies. The critics mostly are sponsored by the ones eating from the rots. And influencers have their ways of piercing through the minds of the weaklings.

Binance is used for money laundering fyi. Crypto firms mostly make their money from it. So BLord made so much money by selling and buying bitcoins ? Dey play!

Why did USA ban liberty reserve and e-gold back then?

u say blord made his money from buying nd selling crypto...u no serious shaaa,no be every thing I go yan u shaa,I stay fr Anambra for year nd I often go to awka nd I know wat is going on there shaaa, let me giv u hint small, u see btc investment fraud, all dis btc boys u de hear....Benin nd delta de learn work where awka boys de bro, fr btc level, as in dem de suck breast were awka boys dey,na were I go school shaa

You mind them

They forget that they banned crypto for months under Buhari

And nothing changed

How do they intend to block binance when it has no office address?

The best they can do is to tell Binance to discontinue business with Nigerians and even at that, we go still find way run am via back door.

It become more stable after Buhari banned it tinubu
Allowing crypto without planning for it

The gap between official and black market has always been minimal, every country in this world has official and black market.
Floating the economy means letting the market forces determine exchange rate and this just proves that our GDP is very low so is our MPS
Imagine if this was done by Jonathan and our economy took this huge nose dive, just imagine what the opposition would be saying right now
As at the time Buhari left government ment, official rate was like N436/$1 while p2p was about N830/$1 a gap of about N400. It promotes round tripping. Merging the two rates is the best I'm my own opinion. It's time to now treat other factors that kept dragging Naira down. But he did the first thing to do
Re: Forex Crisis: FG Plans Clampdown On Binance, other Crypto Firms - Premium Times by Hedonisco: 11:10am On Feb 21
There's not a single thing the Nigerian government can do to 'ban' Binance, other than to block access to the app - same thing it did to twitter.

And anyone savvy enough to be a Binance user is savvy enough to install even a free vpn to bypass that restriction.

Already, Binance and other crypto exchanges cannot exchange crypto to Naira Fiat in Nigeria, so p2p is the only way. So what exactly can government do to stop p2p trading?

Besides, is it only the dollar that is rising unchecked? What of GBP? What of EUR? Is there any stable coin on Binance that is tied to these currencies too, or would you also blame Binance for these as well?

Rather than face the source of the forex crisis, these fools are busy chasing shadows.

These clueless bastards in the APC who have wrecked Nigeria since 2015 to date need to have their heads checked.

I doubt it is. Binance isn't the major reason why naira has been depreciating against dollar and won't stop when it is blocked. Under buhari we had binance and the naira didn't get dis worse.
It's a major contributor, forex trading and crypto dwells on speculations as there are no known foundermental to that business. On daily basis, Nigerians buys huge amounts of dollars from the black market to do trading or convert stolen Naira into dollars and hide it in Crypto.
In the alternative, Binance should register as a Nigeria business so that the Dollar being traded reside in Nigeria rather to Dubai or USA.

At this point, it is very very very very clear that these people are very very very very clueless. This is what you get when you bring in relics as leaders. Is Nigeria the only country using Binance? How can anyone who isn't a slowpoke claim Binance is a sophisticated heist against the economy? Your borrowings, your cost of governance, your unapologetic pilfering of public funds aren't all against the economy but na Binance that's has no physical office in the country, used by hundreds of millions worldwide in hundreds of countries that is a heist against the economy?? How is this any different from what Buharia did by banning crypto??

I didn't campaign for the job, I am not being paid for the job neither am I qualified for the job but arleast the little knowledge I have is enough to know that this is foolishness. I don't expect an imbe.cile to know that

Banks are used for money laundering. BDCs are used for money laundering. Gold traders and miners are used for money laundering. They've Even being using petrol stations and real estate to launder money and these days they use FCCMG businesses to launder money. Do almost all politicians and public office holders not have dollar accounts in tens and hundreds of millions? The likes of BLord, Hushpuppi have always been fraudsters but didn't need Binance to be fraudsters

Only imbe.ciles are those with mucus in their brains will reason like you. South Africa's economy is suffering a heist, Australia, Japan, Switzerland, Taiwan who are all miles ahead aren't suffering economic heist. But it is Nigeria who's politicians practically carry Ghana must go bags of cash around, stash it in their houses that is suffering from economic heist? Fraudsters have been using banks to launder money and receive dollars payment time and time again but suddenly Binance is the problem?

Finish them, king!
