The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, said an โ€œunverified reportโ€ indicated that state governors received N30 billion each from the Federation Account to ameliorate inflation and the high cost of food in their respective states.

He can't even verify the information before saying it out, that akpabio is seriously sick upstairs.
Omo. grin grin see our senate president. Smh. Very foolish statement

He boldly said an unverified report claimed blah blah...how can he not know if it's true or not? He is in a position to be privy to such information.

When I first read it..I didn't believe my eyes. Now you can clearly see that these people no rate Nigerians at all. He knows that once he puts it out that governors were paid such amount, APC supporters will run with it to divert attention from our criminal pilot. Oasis already did here.

Are you sure they aren't pranking unsuspecting spectators?

Look at both guys on dread. They were at the forefront while the rest watch and laugh. They might be pranksters and the lady one of them.

If it's real, they deserve jailing.

See the people controlling naira ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

But why can't Cardi B, set up like three to four merchants, supply them enough dollars and use them to control the rate.

Those three merchants can be selling 1$=1000, those niggars will be forced to sell at that rate.

This is how to play the game

iLegendd:
HOW CAN BINANCE HELP PROTECT THE NAIRA FROM FALLING DRASTICALLY IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE GOVERNMENT?

Here is the solution.

The govement should secretly get involved in crypto, especially P2P on Binance.

There should be at least, 50 accounts owned by the government and no outsider should have a clue. Some should be verified merchants, some unverified.

The first 10 accounts should set trades that don't go past 1800-1850 per Dollar.

Here is the trick, they should have restrictions of 1-5 Bitcoins. This means, for you to buy from them, you must have at least 1 BTC, which is around $50k plus or minus.

This means, lots of Nigerian P2P buyers won't be qualified. This is just a trick to help keep that price range at the top of P2P home page.

These 50 government secret accounts should occupy the first page of P2P. They should vary their prices and restrictions so that a common man can afford to buy from some of them.

Also, these people should be buying from one another so that the money will keep revolving around them just to make sure they stay at the top of the page.

This first P2P page has so much influence on other exchanges. They use this as their yardstick.

Even if sellers in other exchanges increase, they don't deviate much from the top 10 prices on Binance.

So, the government should own this top 10-50 P2P accounts so that they will dictate when to increase it a little or reduce, else, the other hungry billionaire manipulators will take over and the Naira will fall faster.

In summary, the government can control P2P with brain and not just by telling Binance to put a limit cap. With a cap, a lot of people will run to exchanges without a limit and the battle of the fall may continue.

So, with $100 million, the government can achieve this. Control the Naira black market (not general crypto market) without people noticing you're the one doing it.

To those who love to argue, take a deep breathโ€”don't turn this to a fight, but give your suggestions or constructive criticism.

This is just one of the measures.

I don't know why you people can see clearly the manipulation those merchants are using binance to do. This is illegal, binance and FG has to act if not tomorrow you will see dollar @3000.

This is why some countries are calling for cryptocurrency to be regulated.

I don't think they will ban crypto, for now blocking access to it until everything is normalized. That's it.

It looks like the government is already playing the game I talked about above. Go to Binance P2P now and check those restricted sellers. They set low prices and this pushes others to reduce. Funnily, if it's not the government that is doing it, but a group of rich manipulators, they'll buy up all those cheap sellers and turn off their restricted cheap trades and the Naira will crash again, to โ‚ฆ1900/$ or lower, then, they come back to sell with no restriction at a higher rate.

Take a look at the image below and you'll see how these restricted sellers crashed the market.

Some clever by half person probably advised Tinubu's government to go for a 2 pronged attack .

They clamp down on binance as a platform providing P2P service for those who want to buy virtual dollars and go after BDC operators for those that want to buy physical dollars .

What that advisor didn't tell them is that it is just a temporary solution that won't achieve much success in the long run .

Why ? Because the BDC operators will lie low for a while and not converge at their regular selling points like broad street on Lagos island , Eko hotel roundabout and other locations where abokia converge physically to sell dollars . This only mean dollar will be more scarce and when those abokis decide to sell codedly it will be at a price reflecting scarcity of dollars .

The binance and other FX exchange ban is also a temporary fix that won't hold for long . Other platforms will come up and both buyers and sellers will still transact business albeit with attendant risks .

Everybody knows these strategies will not hold for too long , but let's wait and see where it will lead to

They know all these things. They know they are just grasping at straws.

Until they can supply us dollar on the spot like they used to, people will keep going to Aboki. Abi where else are you supposed to get dollar from?

And If you check twitter, several screenshots from binance have been flying around. It's either all those people are outside the country or people are bypassing the access restriction already.

I seriously pray they succeed in pulling down the price. My average price is 1098 and I've been waiting for this pullback since October last year.

Yes, banks. Once CBN can meet demand through the banks, the reliance on Aboki will be far less.

I get your point, but the federal government should know better than making their monetary policy around a strawman, we've been down this road with AbokiFX, even this chasing of BDC guys no be today matter. The easiest fix for an artificial scarcity is a flood of supply, and there's some serious work needed to fix that FX supply side which the government is refusing to do. Naira go still moon.
