Gowon is a shameless man, what has he done to help his own people. He's living in denial. He just revealed he broke the Aburi accord and started the war. Yoruba's still don't know this man decieved Awolowo, used him and dumped him. After 54 years, he's talking about a wound we're trying to heal to foster the unity of this country. How can this country ever move forward. Lol
Awolowo won the war not him, he's too slow and empty headed. It was Awolowo that won the war hoping to get the chance to become president but Gowon betrayed him. Stayed longer than was agreed to handover to civilian rule. Awolowo never believed in one Nigeria and wanted Yoruba nation. he was open abt it which is why he gave his people education. Awolowo starved and killed millions of innocent civilian Igbo's and children and he regretted it. It haunted him till death. To an extent I don't blame him cos if the bastard Azikiwe had joined hands with him to divide Nigeria we won't be here today.
