Onanuga said people forget easily, no they hardly do, they merely pretend some certain things hadn't ever happen to push a propaganda or political unrest. They know what they're doing. Tell them certain things (which they've been making them look like new problems)had always been happening pre-Tinubu administration and they'll quickly tell you it wasn't in this tough degree. They know what they're doing but pushing the propaganda in hope to put their failed candidate in good light but more woes await them if only they know. 2 Likes |

It's only in Nigeria and probably some Africa countries that a leader knows he is incompetent but will never resign. 2 Likes |

Shadomaan7:What difference does it make?? How many people can drive their car now?? Is it not better buying fuel at 195 on queue with subsidy than buying fuel at 700 without queue at a higher subsidy rate?? Nigerians suffered for nothing and are still suffering for nothing. For those of u coming here to post trash, u may not be suffering now because of the stipends this govt is paying u, but bear in mind your children will suffer for it in the future. 1 Like 1 Share |

NairalandForumo: In several of my posts here in nairaland i have used that same phrase of *cart before the horse* and referenced it to Tinubu. He really messed up. If he was really concerned about how much had gone into dept servicing and high subsidy payments why didn't he invite an independent auditor to look into it and prosecute perpetrators? But are u sure of Tinubu spending 1trillon a month on subsidy since he came in, upon removal of subsidy? I can't believe that though. 1 Like |

jkpbestseries: When former President Goodluck Jonathan wanted to remove fuel subsidy , did he repair one refinery before the act that eventually led to a Nationwide protest !? Times are different! Why not refer to the 8-year Buhari administration for making matter worse and not making it easy for Tinubu administration , a proper rake-off. A whole 8-years oOo , no successful/ complete TAM of any of the refinery 1 Like |

frankyychiji: Insecurity ONLY !?? Are you serious The basic roles of govt is stabilisation, allocation and distribution roles and almost everyone knows that the economy is bleeding , how then does the govt begin to allocate so that security can be adequately cater to , knowing that peace is a precursor to development? If the economy Isn't buoyant , then the insecurity situation will worsen over time. Maybe you don't understand the reason for setting up a transition committee. It's to enable the incoming govt to hit the ground running using every info at their disposal. Well , Buhari didn't remove it in its entirety but he did an assessment and evaluation of the consumption side , and this further led to constant borrowings ,that affected the nation. Even , he himself couldn't factor it in the next budget. It was economically bad for him to give considerations to it , after winning his 2nd term. Subsidy is better put into production rather than consumption. Buhari transfered all the burden on Tinubu ,leaving just a month after his inauguration to face issues without him , looking into short term plan to alleviate people suffering immediately after. Buhari isn't a good leader. Moving from pillar to post is the team doing their work. It is a normal proceeding. It shows they want things to get better. They get paid for doing their job - don't pity them. After all , govt is a continuum! |

michlins:Good question. For the first time we had challenge yesterday buying diesel to run our operations. Anyway we bought 200l at 1600 per liter ie ₦320,000,i I wrote, that diesel is exhausted. It lasted 24 hrs! Mote part of our operations is on break so we are not running full generators. What business will survive like this? As it seem, we are not using profit, we practically burnt out our whole capital on diesel. Our income is not covering 50% of our diesel cost monthly! |

IamCookie: Nnpc forcefully bought shares into Dangote's refinery. They bullied their way into it. Even Dangote complained it, cos it was never part of the arrangements when he started the plan right from Goodluck Jonathan's Regime. Nnpc paid over 2billion dollars of borrowed money to buy that stake. Guess what Nnpc is now? It's no longer fully a Government establishment. Meaning there are stakeholders in there who get dividends from yearly profits. https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/nigerias-nnpc-gets-nod-buy-20-stake-dangotes-oil-refinery-276-bln-2021-08-04/ They steal from our future to invest in their future. |

The truth is, the subsidy was meant to be removed by the end of June 2023 according to what former president, Muhammadu Buhari left behind. 👆👆👆👆👆👆This was extracted from the post above..... It means Tinubu is following the advice of Buhari. Following the advice of a lifeless dullard. I nor blame una . Na me I blame to accept to be a Nigerian.. |
