Good morning oga GAZZUZZ,

I dey London now and I dey think to send car to Naija. The problem is that British cars are Right Hand Drive and will need to be converted to Left Hand Drive for Nigerian use.

Which low budget but efficient cars can be converted easily from From Right-Hand Drive to Left-Hand Drive in Nigeria?

I would perish the thought if you think it is not worth it
Thanks

If it is tokunbo engine you can switch to 5w30 but monitor for smoking and drying. If you don't experience either of the two, you are good to go, if not maintain your 20w50 but buy mobil xhp or total quartz 5000 they are better change every 3months of 3000 km
Please I need your advice on this too, but first what do you mean by drying. I bought a tokunbo 2004 Corolla, last year and I changed the engine oil on spot before driving out of the car lot, i didn’t know the required specification of oil as at then but I noticed they serviced it with mobile oil and changed oil filter, I wasn’t satisfied with the oil so I asked around and I was told to go with total quartz 5000 and I changed the mobile oil within the first 31 days and I serviced the car every 3 months with total quartz 5000 fro 9 months before discovering the right oil was total 5w30 and then I changed again to mobile fully synthetic 5w30 the only changes have experienced so far is that my car doesn’t steam white smoke 💨 anymore in the morning when I turn the engine on to warm up before driving off, don’t know if it’s the hot weather or the new mobile 5w30.

drying is when the engine evaporates from norm, like within one one your guage will already be reading low. If you arent experiencing oil burn or lose no issue, stick to your mobil 5w30

In addition to the poster above. Water washed away the lubricant from the joint. You can change that black hose-like part that covers the joint. it's quite affordable. If you can, avoid floody routes.

In addition to the poster above, don't just change the rubber, change the CV axle itself and avoid flooded areas.

Good day all,
My Lexus ES 350 consume more water whenever I traveled long journey. So I change the water to coolant still the same.
And once the radiator dried up the car may stop in the middle of the road or even refuse to start.
Have check the radiator and even take it to mechanic to check if there is any leakage but they said none.

This is not normal, I top it with coolant every morning.

Please is this peculiar to Lexus or something is wrong with mine?

Thank you

Not necessarily a death sentence.
It can be perfectly rebuilt if there are no extensive damage to the block and cylinders.
