This man and capping. Ighalo is scoring in Saudi league. See capping. I am talking about Ighalo and not Saudi League. So the here and now if he is good, he should be in top league no follow again. Saudi league finally no be backwater league again. Please Onyekuru is also scoring in Saudi. Let's recall him also. Shifting narratives here and there. U don dey talk of player and not the league. A Nigerian has been a top scorer in indian league

That guy and his hypocrisy..
There waa a time he used to rubbish the Turkish league especially when we used to call up players from there, but the moment one of his innit boys, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru moved there, he stopped criticizing the league and clamoured for Bashiru's invitation.. ironically, he bragged that Bashiru was headed to AC Milan until they guy carry am handicap anf ended up in Turkey

Go and get a bottle of coke 🍾with a smile , you are getting agitated and all fired up with rage 😡😡.

But why 🤔

It really depends on what unit of measurement will you use to decide world class. For me it's one word CONSISTENCY over time.

When I say Kane, Lewondoski, Mbappe, Ronaldo, Haaland, Salah, Messi, Lukaku, are WORLD 🌎 CLASS what you will notice is CONSISTENCY. These players have been at the top of the goal scoring charts for some over a decade.

VO is an absolute excellent player in what he does with a unique skill set. However, last season 2022/23 after three seasons in Seria A he was the golden boot winner. He did not do that in the Belgium, Bundesliga and French league one.

Now that he has achieved this outstanding accolade the real test is to do it again or at least stay in the top 5. To prove the consistency of world class top quality,it has to be done , in this season and the coming seasons.

Without prejudice I would not call him world 🌎 class yet. He is getting there but has not arrived. Unfortunately this season if he can get to the top 5 that would be outstanding to prove he is truly world class.

Would you call call Martinez, Dusan Vlahovic, Giroud world class ❓

You can cook up your own metric for rating a player as world class and twist it like semovita all you want... Osimhen, by global standards is a world class player... He has reached the level where he is regarded among the best in his position in the here and now.... Your opinion doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, sorry..

By the time the 2025 AFCON qualification campaign ends, the Super Eagles would have played a record 15 competitive matches, and 16 matches overall in a calendar year…

Bro, I disagree on your analogy. To me, a world class player is a player that can play at the highest level and is extremely competent regardless of his consistency. For example,Ronaldinho prime was from 2002 until 2006 and he was world class during that period. Afterwards, he lost form and sadly went into oblivion. On current form, there are not many number 9 better than osimehn and he is presently capable of excelling at the highest level. Osimehn main roadblock has been his inability to perform at big games and once he sorts that roadblock, the sky is the limit. He is the type of player that will guarantee you goals against small teams while being quiet at semi, finals etc. furthermore, he is definitely a world class striker in 2024

If we win all of our WC and AFCON qualifiers matches, we could potentially make another huge leap in the rankings. The UEFA and CONCAFAF teams are doing this with their nation's leagues matches.

Which stupid ultra defensive formation? I guarantee you emenike would had won us that ANC. When they crowd the box, cut back and start shooting long ranger. I actually like osimehn but he has to refine his game if not goals will be bountiful against the likes of São Tomé, Cagliari, genoa, chievo etc but at finals or semi finals na AWOL

Emenike is not in anywhere near Osimhem.

There is more justification for Ighalo to be in the squad than Musa ( cheer leader)

You are delusional.

IGHALO is very good but world class a resounding big capital NO.

Your blind prejudice makes you leap before you look 👀👀

I have been intrinsically clear with what I describe as world class.

Kane had been a top goal scorer in the EPL for near a decade, winning the golden boot on three occasions.

He then leaves the Tottenham in the EPL and he goes to Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. He is now on 27 goals from 23 games that's simply incredible.

Look at somebody reasoning🤔
There is nothing lane has done which Osimhen hasn’t done and will do better in nearest future…

Kane get trophy 🏆

Sigh! Tammy's unavailability for Nigeria never stopped you in the past bringing his name up when you thought he was on the up and up so I'm just curious why you're bringing his ineligibility to play for the SE as a reason not to talk about him now.

So many times I want to engage him when I know he was lying or manipulative but I no get strength to argue , even in real life I don’t argue senselessly

ACADEMY STATEMENT 📖

The academy can confirm the departure of its captain, Onyebuchi Obasi to five times Norwegian league winners, Vålerenga FC.

The winger joins on a four and a half year deal.

Best of luck in Norway, Onye 👍

You must be smoking maragana. Emenike qualified Nigeria and won the nations cup on his first attempt while performing in big games and while osimehn is also a top class performer for the super eagles, he wasn’t as impressive for Nigeria as emenike thus far. You don’t want to perform at big games and you expect everyone to be mute because you be dangote

Like who? You just keep attacking JP for no just cause.

Ekong said Paserio gave them identity! I would rather align with the players than hearsay! Iwobi was not outstanding today.
He scored a beauty, yes but he lost a lot of balls in vital area and missed some glorious chances.
Iwobi left Everton cos he wants to play in midfield. Fulham used him there for few games but decided to push him to the wings.
No serious coach would play Iwobi on the wings for Nigeria.
JP created a formation that would allow our best players thrive and they did get to the final. A team people like you did not give a chance.

Give JP his derseve dues!

The 1994 team was outplayed by the Ivorians in the semis and Zambia in the finals yet that same team is called the best Nigerian National team ever.

Sir Marjori, cuz JP reached the final then I should not say my minds on his tactics.

Pls we are here to talk football and not necessarily we should be on the same page.

Ekong is out for the rest of the season to justify my earlier comment.

Yes a very tactical coach will not forced injured players to play with 25 man squad.

JP should understand needs to maximize his full team than forcing players to play through pains.

Oh 1994 team, you forgot that it takes a very good team to come from behinds and leveled up,especially in semi and final games, twice against CIV and once against Zambia.

Pls go and watch 1994 team matches again to really understand the team

Yes I did not believed in the team and does that make unpatriotic. My man it is football we are talking here.

Damn ,,, Kudos to the boys for being very patriotic 💯❤️❤️ … Besides pesero should have tweaked the team for fresher players and see how it goes 😭

Napoli coach also revealed Victor Osimhen isn’t in good mental shape after forfeiting the cup to Ivory Coast … Mehnn that loss devastated lots of our players including myself 😫😫

That final was ours' to loose and jpajero did not disappoint. Having played 5games straight up using dsame formation, personal opinion wise I was expecting the rigid coach to tweak his formation-since he has nothing to loose; but alas he handed the cup on a platter of gold to CIV. After he discovered dat formation he was just too predictable.

I think Omeruo is the one who is revealing all these secret truth. If care is not taken, he may be axed from the team starting with this Argentina friendly. But it's good he told the truth of what transpired.

Our two wing backs - Ola Aina and Zaidu Sanusi are presently suffering the consequences of Jpes defensive tactics. I watched a video of Aina being welcomed back to his club after AFCON and he was so stressed out that he was leaning on the wall. Zaidu is injured until God knows when. They were all stressed out beyond limit For God sake, you had Bright Osayi and Bruno Onyemachi but chose to play injured players. Na WA ooo. You also had Terem Moffi but chose to always play an unfit Osimhen. That's suicidal. At a point Onyeka was always holding his shoulders in pains. Kels was unused in this AFCON.

NFF will have to sit down with Jpes if his contract will be renewed and discuss this. Thankfully and hopefully, Ndidi, Tella, Sadiq, Boniface will be back for this friendly. We need Michael Folorunsho in that midfield
.

Left to me jpagero should just go. Though in all honesty I wasn't expecting them to reach the summit at d AFCON but the players three D, helped them: d call to DUTY an honour among array of players, DETERMINATION to erased d taunting memory of last AFCON and DEDICATION to one's duty spiked their system.

Be sincere with yourself if we decide not to extend his contract, who is going to replace him dt will do better? Have it mind we don’t have d capacity to go for a grade A coach.

the only issue I had with jpes was the personnel used in the match. Civ didn't really play anything different from the group stage match. It was our injured players that made the difference.
