Well, all my accounts are linked to bvn and my carbon app is linked to both bvn and nin, so I think I should be okay.

No ooo. If your account is a tier1 account, you must submit either BVN or NIN, but if it's a tier 2 or 3 account, you must submit both BVN and NIN

I have not received any notification from Zenith and first bank. It was only palmpay and Opay that kept notifying me since January and linked my NIN through their app.

I thought it was only Opay and Palmpay.

Another way for traditional banks to lose more customers to digital banks.
Most people are not ready to visit the banking hall, especially, the Gen Z, few of the millennials may manage, but majority of both Gens subscribes to digital age.


For Christ sake, create a portal where the people can do KYC, link BVN, NIN… online. Simple

The stress therr is going to the banking hall, not eberybody have the time. Since I started using my bank mobile app, I have never for once visit any bank cos I don't have anything to do.

They can creat a platform for people to link their BVN and NIN to their bank account simple.
