We don't count Lagos as part of SW (Yoruba land). It's a former FCT

Yeah in your delusional mind, you can go and remove Lagos from south west on Nigeria map and take it to the East.

Do you think you're talking with an illiterate like yourself?. what did the useless screenshot proof?, is that an official source?. At least, OP gave a source from SEPLAT that the reserve is 4.3trillion. Do you want to compare this small cup of gas to Bayelsa, Rivers or Akwa ibom that has the largest serving the country for over four decades?. small boy, stop playing.
You guys are really pained.

4.3 TCF is the gas reserve of the two wells that will serve the Seplat plant.

To break it down for you, The Seplat ANOH gas plant will produce 300 MMscf daily from a gas reserve of 4.3 TCF.

That's not the total IMO gas reserve.

Imo control 2/3 of Nigeria TOTAL gas reserves.

Ok.

Lagos is still the former FCT developed with funds from the groundnut pyramids in the North West, coal from Enugu, palm oil from SE/SS, cocoa from the West and oil and gas from ND.

Every Nigerian has a stake in that state.

Yoruba capital remains Ibadan. Go their and claim your heritage and never bring your nuisance near Lagos

say what you know, and learn from what you donโ€™t know, shell and slepat investment on gas in Imo state which will be commissioned later this year, is double the size of the whole gdp of southwest excluding Lagos , infact gas will be supplied from Ohaji -Ogun state through gas pipeline , like the akk pipeline .
Imo is already the second largest GDP after Lagos at over 8 trillion Naira. Ogun GDP is around 5+ trillion.

The two gas plants will add about 6 trillion to Imo, increasing it to 14 Trillion, which is more than all the GDPs of Ogun, Ondo, Oyo (three biggest Yoruba state GDPs) combined.

The GDP of the ANOH gas zone will be more than the individual GDPs of Ogun, Oyo, and Ondo and but not combined.

Let's always give out the right informatuon please.

See Nigeria state GDPs as of 2022

Even without the gas projects, Imo GDP is nearly 1.5x bigger than Ogun GDP.

I still reiterate it again that the east will experience double digit growth this 2024. I forecasted this as far back as 2023 when Alex Otti and soludo , first class economists, super bankers are manning 2 strategic eastern states , now private sector imo and enugu initiatives have joined the fray.

I just pray and wish my edo brothers will not disappoint me this coming election so that it will become a bandwagon effect

Is Igbo land close to the sea ?

and if you need a port so badly, i thought everyone in the east is a billionaire, what's stopping you from bankrolling the project?
Building seaport is not the problem. Onne is very close to the East but there are certain things you can only import through Lagos.

That's why it seems the East is still using Lagos not because we don't have option.

Onne is functional.

Anambra has the largest UNTAPPED gas reserve while IMO has the largest tapped gas reserve.

Two different things.

4.3 TCF is the gas reserve of just two wells that will serve the ANOH gas plants. Imo controls 2/3 of Nigeria tapped 200 TCF gas reserve.

Total IMO reserve is over 130 TCF.

Be guided
Hahaha, i see why nnamdi kanu has a huge number of dummies as followers. So, you sit down in your father's room and determined that Anambra has largest untapped reserves, pls, what's the quantity of the untapped reserves?, or you just declared it the largest without knowing the quantity?. Get sense bro. According to the OP, Imo has 4.3trillion cubic ft, is that even close to what Bayelsa has?. una just dey talk nonsense ontop una keyboard.

One of my biggest happiness about this project is the Ohaji - Ogun gas pipeline.

Our SW brothers will now depend on the SE they hate so much to power their economy. We can switch it on and off at will.

LEVERAGE.

If una threaten Igbos in Lagos, we switch am off. If una beg, we switch am on. For any single demolished Igbo markets in Lagos, we will increase the gas prices and lower supply.

If we wake from the wrong side of the bed, we will just shut down the pipelines and put una in darkness for a whole day.

If e pain una, go build your $4.2 billion gas plant to process una gas. And una go still come to Imo for natural gas supplies to the plant ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
