But the Seplat and Shell gas plants will produce a combined 900 MMscfd which is equivalent to 6.3 million tonnes per year. So, Imo alone will produce 10.5X the current Nigerian domestic gas production capacity and 4.5X Nigerian annual gas usage. It means that Imo will produce in one year what Nigeria can consume in 4 and half years.
