allen113:You are being too emotional and sentimentally biased, leaving out the cause and seeking effect. This is women way of thinking and if you're a Man it's sad cos you clearly lack the intelligence and capacity to lead. The said looters is just two people but almost a community, secondly those involved are majorly youths resident in the area, thirdly they were in Mass. Now you can deduce that they are not thieves, they were not armed either. They simply went in their collectively in broad daylight to take the wares and that tells you they at that moment believed whatever is in the warehouse was theirs. That's an animalistic tendency brought out by hunger. Have you ever been or have children hungry with no hope for food? If you've ever been in such situation then you'll understand that at that moment you'll be conditioned to the level of an animal and it's only at this level you can survive cos in this state you'll do anything. So whatever sentiment you're whipping up to defend ur argument makes no sense. I pray you don't get to meet a hungry man in a survival mode, he won't spare you and he sees whatever you own as his. That's what this government is doing, conditioning people to be animals by inflicting them with hunger. Crime rate 'll soar if this is not curbed so instead of dissipating energy on futility call the government to attend to the need of the people by providing them with the basic things. Food should be affordable, as well as transportation and healthcare, if this is in place only criminals will be interested in looting warehouses and shops. I consider you a wicked soul from ur perspective in this case. It's callous to label a community thieves and taking sides with the government that reduced them to such animalistic condition. |

Now this is getting really hilarious Shouldn't it be the opposite? Hungary people should actually remove doors and windows better than fed people cause hunger can push a man to do anything. |

allen113:You've written with wisdom. 99% of those supporting the looting are Obi supporters who are hell bent on proving that Tinubu was a bad choice, hence the events unfolding. While I don't think Tinubu was our best choice, supporting such indiscipline would only lead to further chaos. These same set of people would blame the government for insecurity if it happened to them and that shows you the kind of toxic politics most obidients are into... |
| Re: Warehouse Looting: Hungry People Can't Remove Doors, Windows - Mariya Mahmoud by yewit37486: 11:25pm On Mar 04, 2024 |
santaclaws:Rest!! What concerns the so called obidients with this? Very soon, you will claim obidients are the ones hiring the people breaking into the warehouses and also controlling the prices in the market ![]() People like you that keep turning everything to a needless battle are a big part of the problem. Address the topic and stop muddling things. |

So, the government have warehouses were they store food? We Nigerians are also wicked to ourselves. Why are locally produced food items so expensive? There was no draught. For instance, Garri price has doubled in the past three months? Why? There are no bandits in the south. We would have blamed it in insecurity. Local government chairmen all over Nigeria should please talk to the farmers. They just can't keep increasing the prices of food items. A marginal increase is permissible. Not increase like 100% in two months. This is wickedness. |

Who is this one again underestimating what angry and hungry people are capable of?? Ya a Dr again and you're talking like this? Shows how oblivious these guys are. E go shock you when they start to disarm guards to get across to any food locations. You saw all those Palliatives moments and still talking like this? |

santaclaws:Lol.... Wisdom is that you? Obidients is the government that reduced her citizens to animalistic tendencies by starving them with their reckless and ill thought policies? What do you expect people to do in the face of hunger and starvation with no hope in sight? Sit down and wait for death or watch their children die? Everybody is feeling the impact of the failure and lack of tactical leadership by this government. Most of this looters are uneducated and unemployed who can't afford even garri with their artisan job most of whom voted in this same government that's inflicting them with hunger. You don't care about this people and how bad it must have been for them to take such drastic decision but it's Obidients that's your problem. Do you get food at a lesser price as an agbadorian? Okay we Obidients label them criminals for trying to survive, do you feel better now? People carried a casket of a sitting president, lied about subsidy, staged needless protest, hired mercenaries blowing up churches and kidnapped school girls, used social media to demonize and dehumanize a sitting president along side his wife but it's Obidients who's done nothing close to this that's toxic huh? You're a waste of space. gaddamn! |

yewit37486:The data online proves you're denying facts. Aisha Yesufu was busy claiming it's hunger that's making people loot and you're here forming 'nsogbu nsogbu, obident soldier'. Do I even like Tinubu's presidency? NO, but y'all have constituted the largest nuisance online since the elections. No matter how much you try to deny it, most of you claiming that people are hungry and justifying the looting are obi supporters trying hard to prove that Tinubu was a bad choice, forgetting that it could happen to you tomorrow. |

| Re: Warehouse Looting: Hungry People Can't Remove Doors, Windows - Mariya Mahmoud by santaclaws: 11:47pm On Mar 04, 2024 |
Daystar7:Okay, since they've now been reduced to "starving animalistic humans" it would be ok for those same people to start looting Igbo businesses right? You all won't condemn something that's obviously wrong, simply because it suits your political claims and offers you a platform for 'I told you so' comments. Tomorrow, if they start looting Igbo businesses, kindly maintain your stand. Adios. ✌🏾 |
| Re: Warehouse Looting: Hungry People Can't Remove Doors, Windows - Mariya Mahmoud by yewit37486: 11:48pm On Mar 04, 2024 |
santaclaws:It's your business whether you like Tinubu's presidency or not, I didn't ask you. Simply face the topic, some of you don't know how so stupid it makes you look calling Obi and obidients all over the place even on topics that don't concern them. I already replied the same comment earlier commending it because that was clearly how kidnapping escalated in Nigeria etc. |
| Re: Warehouse Looting: Hungry People Can't Remove Doors, Windows - Mariya Mahmoud by Daystar7: 11:52pm On Mar 04, 2024 |
Ken4Christ:Stop talking like an illiterate! Didn't you do Economics in school? You've never been around a business area or done business urself huh? Supply and Demand is averse to garri according to you now huh? Inflation is hitting everything, Naira keeps depreciating and you expect garri price not to appreciate huh? So when and if the farmers sell it to you below what they should, they'll go on to get fuel, light, cars, clothes, food, health care, school fees at a cheaper rate cos they sold their garri at a cheaper rate innit? Pls learn. I hate seeing trash like this esp from youths. |
| Re: Warehouse Looting: Hungry People Can't Remove Doors, Windows - Mariya Mahmoud by santaclaws: 11:57pm On Mar 04, 2024 |
yewit37486:Reading comprehension might be an uphill task for you but telling you I don't like Tinubu's presidency has nothing to do with trying to prove anything to a random online entity... It's all about neutrality as I know most of you have the tendency of establishing a false nexus between a contrary comment and political bias. You mentioned me, I didn't mention you, so deal with the facts. Majority of the 'I told you so' comments are from bitter Obi supporters, indirectly justifying the acts instead of condemning them, same way they claim Yorubas & Hausa are suffering for voting Tinubu, as if Yoruba votes weren't largely responsible for Obi's triumph in Lagos. |
