longayink: Mr government waiter, You are here shouting why people are buying lands and building in Orlu and okigwe as we speak. If imolites had given in to your likes who derided Owerri for building only hotels, do you think we would be having a conversation of a city to be proud of in the east? Now you are about Imo building only Owerri, forgetting that the sudden attention Owerri has generated, have made prices of lands and even on the outskirts of the city very exorbitant, pushing builders to other zones/LGA. The best way to build a state is systematically, else you have pockets of disorganized cities in a state with little or no area for Agriculture, power plants, Refineries etc 1 Like |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by InternalAuditor: 12:24pm On Mar 05 |
This looks like rustic desert. No wonder imo state is backward, useless, worthless and barren. That’s why imo state indigenes that live in SE prefer to live in Onitsha, Enugu, Awka and even Abakaliki. Imo state is a failed state

Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Abagworo(m): 12:26pm On Mar 05 |
longayink: Even Awka is yet to be a modern city to scale of Abakaliki and you're saying modern. Please only Abuja has semblance of mordern city in Nigeria while the rest of our large cities are just cities by nomenclature. 2 Likes |

Any update on the substandard non functional Owerri flyovers ?

Re: Few Pics From Imo State by InternalAuditor: 12:28pm On Mar 05 |
The issue with you is that you hate the truth so much. Everyone knows that AWKA is London compare to the glorified village Owerri. Today , Aba is even better than Owerri . Let your glorified village Owerri have decent infrastructures like these while before you start talking in public Abagworo:

You want me to be an adult while old useless envious frustrated old man like Abagworo is allowed to be a baby. Is not gonna happen. We shall all be babies to prove our points. My issue with you is that you don’t show up when they start but we we respond you suddenly comes out. Yesterday someone posted a picture of Nnamdi Azikiwe university teaching hospital but due to envy and bitterness Abagworo came to post nonsense on it simply because imo state had not and can never have such infrastructure . Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Broveens42(m): 12:39pm On Mar 05 |
InternalAuditor: Lol, your last sentence has all shades of mischievousness. "...imo indegines that live in SOUTH EAST, prefer to live in ..." lol So the ones that live in South west or north west, where do they prefer staying? 2 Likes |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Abagworo(m): 12:40pm On Mar 05 |
InternalAuditor: Compare Awka with Orlu. Soludo is the first Governor trying to build something albeit same old Nigerian style of open gutters without landscaping and environmental beautification. Owerri is better than Awka but still nonsense to me cause of the type of Nigerian roads. 2 Likes |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Abagworo(m): 12:44pm On Mar 05 |
InternalAuditor: Igbos are everywhere but the most dispersed by States is Anambra followed by Imo because both States are over populated and have less land for farming. |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by InternalAuditor: 12:45pm On Mar 05 |
Honestly speaking I compare Owerri to Nnewi. Awka and Onitsha are like American cities compare to Owerri that’s why most imo indigenes don’t live in Owerri they prefer Awka and Onitsha, why ? lol Nnewi is the only Anambra city that’s on the same level with Owerri. Nnewi has okada as a means of public transport system and Owerri has okada as a means of public transport systems. Look at Owerri below with okada everywhere and dilapidated roads It is a shame lol Abagworo:

Re: Few Pics From Imo State by FatherOfJesus: 12:46pm On Mar 05 |
InternalAuditor:So you want to be a baby because another person behaves like a baby. Common, be a man that you are control your emotions. Chino, it's just nairaland, we cannot because of abagrowo now and be disgracing the Igbo race. You are over 45, at this age I expect you to be advising young people like us to always protect our heritage, no matter what. I understand that you are uncontrollably attached to Anambra state but bare it in mind that if Nigeria divides today, Anambra cannot stand alone, you will most likely be in the same country with other Igbos. If Nigeria divides, a state called Anambra ceases to exist, you don't realize this. I also want you to understand that before the late 1980s, Anambra didn't exist. Before 1960, Nigeria didn't exist but Igbos existed. This thing you are doing is a fictional battle created by the Nigerian government. I expect you to know all these, in the real sense, Anambra is really not a thing, it's a Nigerian contraption. What brings all of us together is that we are igbos, that is more important that the states created by Nigeria leader who's probably not a n Igbo person. Let's be wise. 2 Likes |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by InternalAuditor: 12:47pm On Mar 05 |
Igbos are everywhere is a fact. But millions of imo indigenes live in Onitsha and Awka. Fact. There are more population of imo state indigenes that live in Onitsha than the population of imo state indigenes that live in Owerri. This is a shame lol Abagworo: |

Abagworo:But his cruise is causing division. Its too much and it's no longer funny |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by InternalAuditor: 12:50pm On Mar 05 |
Abagworo is over 50yrs but up till now he’s still full of envy and bitterness simply because Anambra is by far more developed than imo state, simply because Onitsha and Awka are better than Owerri. Why’s this jobless old man always bitter and envious? My happiness is being in this nairaland. Na me fit him . So leave this matter FatherOfJesus: |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by FatherOfJesus: 12:52pm On Mar 05 |
InternalAuditor:Chino, you were born in the 70s, there was nothing like Anambra then. You should know better. In the next 100 years, we are not sure if anything called Anambra or Imo will ever exist. You are fighting over fictions 1 Like |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by InternalAuditor: 12:52pm On Mar 05 |
Abagworo you are always full of envy and bitterness and you always live in denial. Anambra is better and more developed than imo state, that fact has been established long ago. Obviously you are the one catching cruise because you know the bitter truth lol Abagworo: |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by InternalAuditor: 12:54pm On Mar 05 |
Abagworo was born in the mid sixties and there was nothing like Imo state then, so why would he always feel bitter because Anambra is better than imo state? Why wouldn’t he accept reality and move on ? FatherOfJesus: |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Abagworo(m): 12:54pm On Mar 05 |
InternalAuditor: Based on credible census there are more from Anambra in Imo than Imo in Anambra because Imolites are mostly civil servants while their Anambra brothers are mostly traders. Northern part of Imo State mostly Orlu zone and partly Okigwe are also traders mostly dealing in medicine, very wealthy and own most of Awada and Headbridge. They are too few to compare with the Anambra selling spareparts and provisions in Imo. |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Abagworo(m): 12:56pm On Mar 05 |
InternalAuditor: Chino I was born in the 80s not 60s. When then was my father born ? Funny enough I never thought you were this old to be born in 1970s. 1 Like |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by FatherOfJesus: 12:58pm On Mar 05 |
InternalAuditor:Chino, we are igbos. Every Igbo has a right to criticize any part of Igbo land. The criticism is because we want every part of Igbo land to do better. In criticizing, we need to b aware about outsiders and protect everyone but you beheviour is messing that up. As an Igbo person, I can critic Imo, Ebonyi, Abia or even Anambra. Learn how to manage criticism as an adult. The things that you kids will do and you will caution them is exactly want you are doing. |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by InternalAuditor: 1:00pm On Mar 05 |
From the statistics there are over 2 million imo indigenes that live in Onitsha alone. Imo indigenes who are predominantly low scale traders dominate patent markets in Onitsha while their Anambra counterparts are mostly big time businessmen importers with networks all over the world. That’s why imo state indigenes have their abroad in Anambra. That’s why there’s no imo state family without someone living in Onitsha. Onitsha is seen as a greener pastures for imolites, that’s why people like Orange drugs which is the richest imo indigenes live in Onitsha where he has the largest soap and drug industry . Re: Few Pics From Imo State by InternalAuditor: 1:02pm On Mar 05 |
Old man catching cruise. Abagworo you should have grandchildren by now because all your mates born in the sixties all have grandchildren. But unfortunately you are not even married yet. Till now you are still living somewhere in one room in port harcourt with your poor ikwerre mom, even though your dad is from imo state. Gworo man melu onwe ebele lol Abagworo: |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by InternalAuditor: 1:07pm On Mar 05 |
It is the same criticism that we are doing even here too. We want to know why Owerri is still a glorified village? We want to know why Owerri flyover is not functioning? We want to know why Owerri ICC collapsed despite huge commission fanfare? We want to know why most imo indigenes prefer to live in Onitsha, Enugu, Awka than living in Owerri. These are pertinent questions FatherOfJesus: |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by longayink: 1:20pm On Mar 05 |
Broveens42: Bolded. The evil suggestion by Owerrians to then gov Okorocha: "let IMSG first build us a Dubai-like capital city in Owerri, future governors will take care of Okigwe and Orlu." That is the suggestion you rephrased in the bolded above. Thunder will fire all of you with this mentality. If Roman emperors had waited until they built Rome to the highest, but abandoned London, Paris, Damascus etc, people of England, France, Syria, etc of the Roman empire would have revolted against Rome. Owerri lands are more fertile and used to be the agricultural basin of Imo state. You now sell the lands of Owerri for people of Orlu and Okigwe zones to come to settle in Owerri. So far, Owerri has been enjoying Orlu zone governors who have no idea of how to build a state. 1 Like |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by InternalAuditor: 1:25pm On Mar 05 |
We are all igbos. Let’s tell ourselves the bitter truth. Imo state is yet to have a befitting state capital. What imo has now as a capital is a total shame. Weatheral road is the only road in Owerri and that’s only road people show as Owerri, while 90% of the town is in a shambolic mess and unplannlessness. Looking at Owerri reminds of a Stone age. You now see the reason why most imo indigenes are running to Onitsha, Awka and Enugu to live and invest . longayink:

Re: Few Pics From Imo State by longayink: 1:32pm On Mar 05 |
InternalAuditor: Bolded. They have again cajoled the Imo gov to build another flyover in Assumpta junction where a big rondo or traffic lights would better traffic. Waste of money that should have saved human lives in other places in Imo State where floods yearly carry away humans due to unavailable urban drainage network. Primitive, heartless set of people who foolishly believe that flyover is sign of mega city. 1 Like |
