I don't know why Dangote has to import crude, but i think importing crude is better than importing petrol

One the refinery will work and employ people even if na 500 or 1000 people that's some people off the unemployment lane

Versus we just import refined petrol alone

Nobody has disputed any of these. But the idea of importing crude was never discussed at any point in time when NNPC was acquiring 20% stake in Dangote's refinery.

All that was discussed in the media space was that the Dangote refinery commencing production will put an end to fuel importation and thereby earn save us more Fx . Now all that is looking like a pipe dream.

Employment generation has never been an issue; we all know people (mostly Nigerians) will work in the facility na.

You can argue anything in excel format, what you cannot deny is human movement

If you go on Nairaland thread you will see people arguing that Nigeria is better than Canada or Australia showing you different numbers on excel, We have seen people argue how easy it is to become rch in Nigeria, How people abroad are living paycheck to paycheck, how gun crime has finished everyone, how they no dey respect elders, how Nigerians are the happiest people ever

. What you can never argue with is the traffic at both embassies. You cannot be at US - Mexico border seeing the direction people are moving and claim Mexico is better

Under Obi, Fashola had to deport Anambra people from Lagos which made Obi angry, forgetting he also deported people from Abia.

In most cases na people wey cme from the worse places dey get deported

There was a story book we read about Lion and tortoise when Lion said he was sick and all animals went to visit him, when it was turn of the tortoise he said he noticed all footsteps are towards the lion house and none coming back

That human traffic between Anambra and Lagos will tell the story more than any excel analysis. More footsteps are from Anambra to Lagos compare to Lagos to Anambra

I can see more people run away from Oyo state to Lagos or Rivers state and sit here to claim that Oyo is better than Lagos or Rivers

Nigeria has to produce crude for export to generate income for the country that is very important. Now any excess we give to Dangote and others to refine

If due to whatever reason e.g theft and co we cannot

Say we need to export 20m barrel to meet our income needs, Dangote needs 5m barrels. Until we are able to produce 25m barrel before we can satisfy everything. If we produce 22m, Our income need will take precedent, Dangote will get 2 locally and source for 3m barrels anywhere he can get it

Fashola deported 14 people to Anambra…. Maybe you should check how many are from your state begging in Lagos as well and why he didn’t deport others grin
People have been trooping to Lagos before Tinubu and it will continue…. People I entered Australia with have all moved to bigger cities like Melbourne and Sydney so this your story no work.
People move from Kogi and other neighbouring states to Anambra and Enugu.

But since you saying people are moving to Lagos because of Tinubu, let’s see his good works in Nigeria then….Hopefully people will start moving to Nigeria cheesy

Fashola deported people to many states including Oyo

People move to places of prosperity, Its delusion to think Anambra beats Lagos in any economic metric when the car parks are filled in one direction

If Nigeria becomes better than America people will move to Naija

U are only pointing to the already established fact that Buhari's government was dishonest when they set in motion their propaganda machine singing Dangote refinery commencement of operation will lead to more FX for us and also lead to end in PMS importation.

The 20% stake in Dangote was more of NNPC tying scarce FX down to fund a business that will only generate Dividend for NNPC as an investor. It's not going to do all of the other stuff Buhari's government used propaganda to claim.

Simple.

We have people that witnessed your Obi's maladministration in Anambra, lamenting how he wrecked the state in 2012. Also, despite all the revelations by Soludo, you were hellbent on ensuring Nigerians suffer the same fate that made even Donjazet to wish Obi, death.

Supporting and Voting for Obi to rescue Nigeria, is like recommending Gary Neville to coach and rescue a dying Chelsea.

This is the truth.

Too many people (almost everyone I saw online) cursed the day Obi became the governor over Obi's cluelessness.

If some of us, however, point out Obi's rudderless administration as a governor, some here would pick us as easy targets.

Lol.

Criticize Tinubu as much as you want.

I don't fucking care.

I read some where that NNPC can't supply his refinery with enough crude oil to keep it running seamlessly.

The Dangote refinery is not the type you can start and switch off like a car engine hence the reason for importing enough crude to keep the refinery working smoothly without any hitch.
