You didn't address the points raised sadly, cause if you did you'll reach the same conclusions I did. And no it isn't normal, it's an aberration. You'll also fail to see how this sets a precedent that could potentially kill football development in Nigeria. All age grade coaches just need to collude with agents and clubs, and potentially invite players where they have a 5% stake in.

You put the timeline at scouting, he did this as a coach of the national team. In essence he was doing a job he was already paid for. Every thing he contributed to Nwakali's supposed growth during that timeline was as a coach under contract to the NFF. He did same to at least 20 other players, why not make same argument for others since he also contributed to their development? It's just bizarre.
Thank you

What's all this talk about Emma, is it cos he is in the frame of things to become our next Coach that this is coming up nowhuh

The Article shared by Elder Kog45, Clearly stated he was given, not that he demands it, so what's all this fuse about,

or if any Club decides to Pay Rohr for helping Okoye to vetting signed by spartan, he is now crookhuh

You sef dey see am?

If as a coach, one of my players got a good deal abroad and the family decided to gift me a small percentage of the developmental fee, I will collect it inasmuch as it is not illegal.

However, if I negotiate with one of my player's camp to find him a good club abroad on the basis that I would collect a certain percentage of the transfer fee, that is bribery.

From the screenshot posted by Elder Kog, the 5% of the fee was actually given to Amunike AND his coaching crew. That was after the tourney o. Not like he collected the money before the tourney.

Nobody here cannot stop Amuneke if he emerges eagles coach but truth must be told…no club will pay Rohr for signing Okoye.

He is not.

There is something I need you to clarify. Did Amunike specifically demanded for that percentage or was the money given as a 'gift'?

More over the money given to them was reduced from 15% to 5, If he so demands it, why didn't he and the coaching crew protest,

Normally, I don't trust all these naija coaches. Bribery is not a strange thing among them. But from the screenshot posted, I don't see that as a bribery unless there is something we are not privy of.

I know. The question I asked is that, did Amunike demanded for his own percentage or it was Nwakali's party that freely gave him?

Well, I don't agree. Anybody wey collect bribe must be exposed and just be ready to bear the consequence.

You claim to know about youth football in England and Europe yet you thumbed up this post?

You keep revealing your true status. Honestly, you don’t know anything, na just mouth you get.

So you don’t know what’s called compensation or solidarity fee under FIFA rule? You said you work with Liverpool academies yet you don’t know Leicester is already asking Liverpool for same fee over Trey Nyoni?

You claim to be in the labor room when Jude Bellingham was born yet you aren’t aware of the compensation fee paid by Birmingham to Stourbridge fc when Jude signed for Madrid? Lol this boy sef 😂🤣🤣

Are you contractually obligated to a thank you gift? Do you give gifts by percentage of a total sum? Baba I like Amuneke but this isn't about him. How you people do not see how this can potentially harm our sport is what I don't get.

Can't you see it is possible for a coach to quietly agree with a player on a percentage before he's included to the national team and after he becomes successful, said player and agents et al gives coach 5% as appreciation gift? How do you guys not see that this is ethically wrong and that there's conflict?

Oga compensation fees are paid even more in Europe than in Africa and South America. It is even here in Africa that the trainers are denied their rights.

Please let me know if I am wrong but I don't think that's the argument. No one is disputing that clubs as entities gets compensated for the development of players (I stand corrected). The dispute here is how a national team coach got a share of said proceed. How ethical is this?
