IyaTola: I highly recommend Cyber security, you can go from novice to entry level job in six months with intensive training. Was fortunate to learn it during my service year 2 years ago, I got a job two months after my graduation from the intensive training. |

crossfm: lol. My brother stop embarrassing our darling politicians jare. What are they going to do with peanuts? They don’t need the loan. But if you need it and you know any big man just go to him and he will send your name to Abuja. Also be ready to pay small change for it. Hats how corrupt our system is. Useless loan that is harder to get than a federal govt job. |
Re: Tinubu Launches Student Loan Thursday, Foreign Scholars Seek Inclusion by ChengHun(m): 10:39am On Mar 11 |
Hope payment of tuition fees wouldn't be introduced in public tertiary institutions after the lunch of the loan scheme. Hope politicians wouldn't hijack the disbursement process. |
Re: Tinubu Launches Student Loan Thursday, Foreign Scholars Seek Inclusion by sweetgala(m): 10:39am On Mar 11 |
The student loans scheme should only be used for higher institutions within the sovereign entity of Nigeria. If any students want to study abroad they are open to find alternative funding from a commercial entity. The student loan plan should hopefully impact the university system I expect the FG releases control of federal institutions so they can fund themselves and FG can appoint a supervisory board to secure the interests of the nation as concerns education. If the loan is extended to study abroad it would only be inappropriate. Universities should be encouraged to partner with other institutions abroad so exchange programs are accessible to the students who want to expand their scope. But the loan SHOULD NOT be available for students abroad or diaspora individuals. |

Golan007:You're an absolute cretin Did anyone force Tinubu to make a promise of student loan and even sign it into law. Do you realise it's a part of our laws since it was passed by NASS and given assent which means it's a must for it to happen? You're so daft you're talking as if he's using his personal funds for the student loan. Is 1bn for meeting with NLC enshrined in our constitution or is travelling to Qatar with his sons there? I didn't even realise I'm chatting with a dimwit What school did you attend 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: Tinubu Launches Student Loan Thursday, Foreign Scholars Seek Inclusion by sweetgala(m): 10:42am On Mar 11 |
Kukutenla: The FG should hands off the universities and only appoint a supervisory board which they already do. Let the universities set their fees and that would encourage excellence and everyone would find their level. The ministry of education, the supervisory board and citizen protection agency should ensure the fees are reasonable and achievable |

Meti99: This is simple for those that understand how government things works other than private sector. There are a lot of bureaucracy in government programs and procedures hence the reason for several news before its finally concluded. Imagine minimum wage issues still ongoing because there is a period for its implementation and nothing will happen untill it gets to the time. |
