It is impossible for a currency to depreciate by over 100%. This is shabby reporting.
It's true that the currencies listed have performed very badly, but their computations are wrong.

For a currency to be negative 100, it means that you holding the currency is you owing in USD, which is impossible.

If Economics were common sense, every man would be a professor.

Percentage is a relative comparative measure of value.
Percentage is not absolute.

Now think 1,000 minus 200% will be what? Can a currency be negative? As in, you have N1,000 and you're still owing. Owing who exactly?

You actually need help. The thread does not state that the currency is just depreciating. It states that it is depreciating against another currency.
If a dollar was #800 as at June 2023, and a dollar is #1600 today, that is a 100% depreciation of the Naira against the dollar.

The FG is the central nervous system (Brain box). What do you expect from the other body part when the brain is not functioning optimally? Just like a mad man with a dysfunctional brain,every part of his system is overworked without been productive; his legs suffers because he roams about without a known destination, he carries baggages of things he doesn't need around .The FG is in charge of making fiscal and monetary policies,when they make policies beneficial to large percent of the population,no one will give a hoot about what a state governor is doing as he will also be forced to work in tandem with the FG.
