I still maintain my stand on people being lazy. What's the success rate among those who used agents after parting with their millions and those who did it themselves with their brains? I've read people's comments on this threads from when it was created, till this point and I can tell you the percentage of those who used their brains far outweighs those who used agents. You can tell from their testimonies. What I've read mostly are sad stories of naive applicants who used agents.

You don't even need any agent for your POF. There are hundreds of loan companies who can offer that service at a flexible percentage interest or commission. Some do advertise here on NL sef. Go to students threads and you'd see them advertised by nairaland.com.

You don't need any agent to search for a conference that's relevant to your field. There's 10times.com, which is a leading global conference site. I had used it back in the days for all the events that I had attended. Most of the partners we work with in Nigeria today were sourced from those conferences and exhibitions attended which, I got via 10times.com. I had used eventsbrite too but 10times is richer and nobody recommended or introduced it to me. I searched online and did my due diligence on it. What else do you need...? You don't even need a property or the map of your home town to apply for a TRV. Agents had dashed the hopes of many innocent Nigerians and they cannever enter the USA, Canada and UK again. Some may be aware of their continued refusals after requesting a GCMS Note, while some aren't. That's not good news.

DIY remains the only option. If you're refused, try again.. you'd be surprised by the time you finally get through, you'd not spend one-quarter of what you'd have dashed an agent who would only kill your dreams. Enough said

Please do not reapply as long as you have a pending visa application with them it may lead to an automatic visa refusal for both applications. My 1 cent

Don't be angry. I know you've complained before but I just ignored. At times you need to expatiate, to stop some gullible from going astray in some cases, a sentence or 2 may not suffice. I do understand that, not everybody has that ample of time to do that.

I have applied for Canada visitor visa to attend a conference in 2012 through an agent where he claimed that I was a doctor with a university degree but the visa was refused fast track to this day I have been to several Schengen countries up to 4x and established my own company in building construction.

Now I intend to apply to visit my niece with up to 11m naira as my balance.

My main concern now whether to put my true academic level which is o level and that will contradict my previous claim in 2012 or follow up on what was initially filled in the form in 2012 as there will be no need to prove it.


Please your idea will guide me in what to do guys

To request a GCMS note, you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident; or an individual residing within Canada, and it will cost you CAD$5.

Applicants outside of Canada can still apply for GCMS notes through use of a representative who is either a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, or corporation in Canada.

If it's a conference, a letter of invitation isn't necessary. Just register and pay for the conference, where applicable and upload registration confirmation page alongside the paid invoice for the conference on the portal in the column where invitation letter upload is indicated.

But if its an event to which you're invited, you'd need a letter of invitation from the organiser.

With a good travel history, a visa applicant doesn't need to worry about much documentation. But if you're a first time applicant, the VO would profile you as a potential immigrant so, the onus is on you to prove them wrong by uploading as much documents as possible, guaranteeing convincing ties to your home country.

I am not condemning you but i wish to tell you that you are an accomplice to this because you could have said NO, OUT RIGHTLY. This is an INTENTIONAL FORGERY!!!

And who said you wouldn't need to prove you are still a medical doctor after 12 years if you would like to use the informations you filled in your last application? Won't you submit your updated basic work docs and salary account? Have you never had any promotion since 12 years? On IRCC database, you are already a medical doctor. Now if they later get to know that everything was forged, the masquerade of 12 years ago with its ugly face will land you a ban

In 2010 I applied to attend an educational conference in Canada, but the application was rejected. Then I was working at a business center, but the man who packaged my visa application claimed I was a polytechnic lecturer. He lied about so many things in the application.

-I was single then, but he claimed in the application that I was married with 2 kids.

-My highest qualification then was OND, he claimed I had master degree.

-I applied again in 2012 and I did it myself. I used my correct information. My application was denied.

-I applied again in 2013 claiming that I was going to attend a conference (EDmedia 2013) . My application was approved. I had UK visa in my passport before I applied for the Canadian visa.

My applications were never queried for contradicted information.
