Akpabio wont last four years on that seat as senate president. He will be impeached. Just mark todays date.
Reasons :
He’s unguarded when it comes to utterances,
He wanted to senate no blue print.
This 10th Assembly will be the worst under his watch. Just to mention few.

Except he adjusts otherwise impeachment is sure

No political move can change the narrative Senator Ningi has passed across to the public already.

Call this a political move, he sent a strong message with his interview at BBC News (Hausa) version.

How on earth can Akpabio Justify a constituency allowance to Akwa Ibom in excess of N20B for constituency allowance whilst others got partly N300m . What justification does he have to defend the mind boggling allocation in constituency in Akwa Ibom with less than 500,000 population.

Senator Ningi has been given a hero status now at the expense of Akpabio as the north/ south divide in the house of assembly widens.

Must you echo what you don't know just because enemies of government you don't like are saying it?
why did he later apologise after the budget was explicitly explained to him on statutory institutions not covered as always in the budget?
Budget was not padded, but a mischievous and cheap blackmail to sensitise north that governance has suddenly changed from what it used to be where North always happily dominate every section of government spending.

Can you show us where it was padded, is it the responsibility of senate to pad budget, is it the responsibility of the senate to execute approved budget or FEC, Don't the FEC have a director of budget, if the FEC said that there was no budget padding how then did you attribute it to senate as the one that pad the budget, Northerners know the games they are playing mostly the opposition PDP fingered by Atiku, constituency project fund has always been an integral part of legislators.
Re: Senate To Reinstate Ningi As Akpabio Comes Under Pressure by BondRiv: 10:50am On Mar 19
If this precedent is set, it should be applied to both the North and South. When the North takes the presidency, they should not expect Southerners to also accept their suspension for several months. Either the rules are followed or they are not.

it seems that this Northern Nigeria is stronger
than Britain in the control of Nigeria
even tinubu reverse sanctions on Niger the brother of the north

Actually the North is in the driving seat of Nigeria

Otters are follow come

They have the population to decide election outcome

Coupled with Southern Nigeria can never agree especially the Yorubas and the Igbo

So the North gets the upper hand in everything

There leaders get away with anything

Although the Yorubas have been benefiting so much more than other Southern parts

But still the North has the Ace

Yeah looks like he won't last these 4 years

Since David Mark, Saraki, Lawan, they have handled Senate with great decorum

But Akpabio has been very reckless and not thinking things through

He should better watch it

Especially now that the North have opened his matter and file
Because they've sensed and seen his weakness and that he is very fallable

Like shark in water sensing drops of blood from another animal
They will come for a kill

He must not tender any apology
because Akpabio will hide under such
an apology to justify his actions..😡😡😡

What the senator of conscience must now
do is to put pressure on Tinubu to
withdraw his support from his scandalous,
irresponsible Senate President to pave
way for the emergence of a more competent
Senator.

I can't imagine how akwa Ibom survived
8 years under this unscrupulous kleptomaniac❗️❗️❗️

How a criminal who has a pending corruption case with the EFCC became the Senate president is baffling thinking that he achieved this without even contesting for the election shows how useless the country is.

See the country we live in?

Where are those people that rushed to form southern senators forum? They didn’t see any need for a southern senators forum until one of their own was exposed.

If na me the Ningi I would still stand by what I said. I would even demand an apology from those that sponsored/supported my suspension from the senate.

GOEs coming to defend a budget that has been signed by the president & is currently being implemented?😂😂😂 chai

So they are trying to bring in the House of Representatives since HOR wasn’t mentioned. We know it’s both houses that worked on the budget. Just answer the padding question first.

Which money hasn’t been released? Where did they get money to share which some bragged they got N1billion while one quoted a line from the book Animal Farm even as he acknowledged receipt of his large- than-others share?😂

Those supporting these shey una Dey see? Continue.

Stop vomitting rubbish.both northern and southern forums were there but northern forum was reactivated after yari lost to akpabio.
Ningi was wrong,he claimed the 3.7 tri belonged to nobody or no projects meanwhile it belonged to some agencies

oh my God, you are still not getting it, this is not his argument, this is not budget padding. This is the endemic high level corruption we have been talking at the National assembly, this is normal to them, all of them get this on unequal basis depending on your seniority in the assembly.
He ignorantly came out to say that #25 trillion was passed and #3 trillion was added to it making #28 trillion to be spent by FG. it was later explained explicitly to him, #25 tr was actually passed by National assembly, #3 trillion are for statutory institutions which are not always determined by National assembly. He apologised afterwards, but the image of the national assembly has already been damaged.
constituency projects, is the known conduit pipes the national assembly members use to enrich themselves, it is completely different from issue ningi raised.

I listed to Shehu Sani, he said " there is padding only if u can see it and have facts"

This is the country of our own, those who are supposed to care for masses only cared for themselves and u see fighting and argument only when it comes to money and share of national budget and assets.

Insecurities

Poor economy

Fuel subsidy removal

Non functioning refineries

Etc .. are there, but na who pad budget and who no pad budget dey the front burner of our leaders.
