emperor4love:Whether east or north or west, e no good at all. Oh wrong nau. Why would you burn my house because some hoodlums killed a soldier while me dey inside house dey watch movie wen it happened? Isn't that the height of lawlessness? That's even what caused this unknown gunmen issues in the East. And trust me this could also restart militancy in the SS. You murder innocent people and burn communities, will the indigenes of those areas ever see soldiers in good light again? I just don't know how our uniformed men think sometimes. So barbaric 6 Likes |

God1000: How does he feel? You people should learn to travel and see how things are done in saner climes. Where will you see a soldier in the Western world or in South Africa, or Egypt coming out online to dish out threats because his colleague were killed? The Nigeria military needs a new mentality. How can you be Using brute force on innocent people to avenge the death of your officers. Shooting and killing people and burning houses. is that not what terrorists do? There is a failure of our intelligence services. The perpetrators would have be fished out if we had good intelligence. I wonder why they didn't respond this way when boko haram was killing them. 3 Likes |

Let us remove sentiments from this issue and treat issues the way they are. Any small thing we de compare Nigeria to US, I see no reason for the comparison because Nigeria and Us are not mate at all. we are suppose to be comparing Nigeria with Sudan, Niger, Congo Cameron. Can a Community in US kill 16 US soldiers and nothing will happen?. Let us be reasonable please!. stop comparing US and Nigeria please! Those Soldiers have family too, the painful part is the way they were killed. They came for peace and you took advantage of them. what ever that gave them the mind without thinking of the consequence don run leave now. Now their eye no clear? |

LocalFARMERS: Illiterate uncouth bushman. Nobody will act senselessly, he didn't even establish what led to those events. Nobody in Nigeria without any reason will wake up in the morning and start killing soldiers. Nobody is plain insane and mad. The question β is what happened. First proviso, is we CANNOT in any shape or form considere the explanation of the NA as true record of events. Now look at psychology of the average Nigerian soldier. He thinks π€ he is above the law and nobody can challenge him irrespective of if he is right or wrong or operating unlawfully. Is it normal without any form of provocation for Nigerian army soldiers to open fire and kill defenceless citizens β. My response if not normal then highly probable. History π painfully tells us this to be TRUE. Nigerian army πͺ soldiers like deranged animals can visit murderous wanton destruction and killing without provocation. They act like demigods , unfortunately the citizens consider it to be normal and acceptable. So then what happened β what do we know . They attended a peace meeting in that community town hall. They were given the utmost respect and welcomed with kola and drinks by the elders. Then what happened π, what did they doπ€ Now tracking the movement of this large group of soldiers who in their numbers armed heavily, would feel impregnable. In addition any actions taken unquestionable ,might is right ππΏ. Why would a group of assumed youthful local militants in hot pursuit of this large contingent of soldiers . Feel so painfully heart wrenchingly aggrieved to seek murderous bloody revenge This act would be close to a suicide mission they put their own lives on the line to exact revenge for what βββ. The NA has too many questions to answer but it's all going to be white washed and a nonsensical narrative totally unsubstantiated presented to us . Because just like our politicians the NA think they are above the law and the citizen are fools to be trodden upon. Finally, ode Mae Oghene Kome, I be undiluted Uhrobo man. 2 Likes |

They should pay for their actions, next time they wont try it. It is better a Nigeria soldier die in the battle field gallantly than die they way they did. Get it clear! |

Sheerbliss: Incidentally I've associate experience of the British and US army and marines. None of these highly disciplined soldiers will ever attempt to raise hands βπΏ on civilians. They will not even argue with police. You failed to be objective, why would aggrieved local youths decide to exact revenge on Nigerian army soldiers. They were on there way back from Okuamo , after doing WHAT βThese soldiers that died are 80% of Northern extraction. Nobody will kill and or attack a huge group of soldiers that came for PEACE ποΈ. People are not mad and insane. Open your eyes π it seems you are blind and cannot seem 2 Likes |

Cindypresh: What exactly is the meaning of what you just posted here. Is it because he spoke in pidgin or his mannerism of speech. You forgot he is from warri, it is inbuilt. Don't also forget that he might not be educated like that. How many educated people with good mannerism can opt for this kind of job to be deployed to the battle field to protect us from the aggression of the enemies while we lay our head to sleep with our two eyes closed, these guys cant do so. Abeg forget all those ajebo things wey you dey imagine. He is not American nor Russian and so can never have the finesse of those guys. He is a warei boy. He is probably a local guy recruited just for the purpose of protecting his people, so stop that BS that he is agbero. |

BreconHills: You are an illiterate. Nigeria is a Federal Republic not a military dictatorship. There is " RULE OF LAW " Absolutely nobody is above the law. You need to go back to school π« or ask for a refund of your school fees. Military codes of practice are not laws π« superior and or above the law. 3 Likes |

God1000: On what account is he expressing his feelings? Since when did feelings replace professionalism? I do not support the gruesome killings of our gallant men, and pray that the perpetrators are brought to book.... but can we allow the law take its toll? No individual soldier is supposed to do this ..... he ought to be disciplined so others could learn.... |

Cindypresh: Am with you my sister, the clown in the video acted very unprofessional and I will be surprised if he's not reprimanded by his superiors. His daft brain didn't tell him most of us in the south south lived in the North and left because of the complacency of the northern people towards our soldiers efforts in combating Boko Haram during GEJ. Same northern soldiers gave Intel to Bolo Haram and our boys were ambushed several times and many young boys from Niger Delta died alongside compatriots from other states. Some even went AWOL on the army because they knew they were fighting a lots cause. Those boys has mothers, brothers and families too. However, I condemn in strong terms the killing of Nigerian soldiers or any Nigerian for that matter. All lives matter. The killers will definitely be fished out if they use military intelligence or use external investigation cos some of the top military brass are into bunkering businesses which may complicate issues. The army should allow the press into the communities so true reportage of the events can be recorded for posterity. The senseless revenge killing of innocent villagers and burning their homes and properties should be probed and I expect civil societies to petition the commanders of the Operation Safe Delta and the Chief of army staff to the ICJ in Hague's for genocidal crimes. We are not a banana republic to take up arms against our own citizens 3 Likes |
