Someone will be making money but can’t see the money because you are spending too much on the basic things.

You fit spend 300k in two weeks and you won’t see what you used the money for.

Everything is so fucking expensive!!

Cut your clothes according to your size
Re: Inflation, How Are You Guys Coping by Namaster:
Use the BBA method:

1. BUDGET:

A shiiit-ton of people in Nigeria don't have budgets. Money comes and they spend and spend and spend. That is bad.

Draw up a budget and stick to it. Have a defined budget for food, NEPA bill, transport fare or petrol, etc.

Someone may argue that the money is NOT enough to consider budgeting. To that, I say RUBBISH!

If the money is not enough in the first place, then you have NOTHING to lose by budgeting. When you operate with a budget, you avoid OVERSPENDING on a particular area while neglecting other important areas.

A budget can help you spread your funds more evenly so that every Naira is pulling its own weight.

2. BULK PURCHASES:

Buy everything in bulk!

By everything, I mean EVERYTHING!

You want to buy food, buy it in bulk.
You want to buy pure water, buy it in bulk directly from the FACTORY TRUCKS.
Your seasoning like Maggi should be purchased in bulk.

If you have kids in secondary school, but a carton of pen and keep in your house. Same for snacks like biscuits.

By buying things in bulk, 2 things happen:

1. You will have enough volume to patronize wholesalers. That means you don't have to deal with the INSANE mark-ups that retailers add to the deal.

2. You postpone the need to deal with constant price hikes. Prices of goods, especially foodstuff, change frequently. But when you buy in bulk, you don't have to deal with that immediately.

Buy in bulk, save a bunch.

AVOID NIGERIAN GIRLS:

Nigerian girls are financial black holes. They are out to suck you dry.

If you have any kind of relationship with a Nigerian girl, you will be responsible for gifts, wigs, creams and ice creams. Not to mention food, clothes and "chill".

If you don't want your money to vanish like a person who owes you money, AVOID NIGERIAN GIRLS!

A certain Nairaland user, Eunoiaa trades her kpekus for Nigeria naira. That's how she is surviving the hike in inflation.
