No fewer than two students of Nasarawa state university Keffi has lost their lives during struggle for palliatives.

It was gathered that the stampede occurred after there was a struggle among students at the institution.

A source familiar with the incident said the palliatives were given by the governor of Nasarawa State.

The source further stated that the two students were 200 level female students in the department of Computer Science.

Its really shameful to Nigeria and Tinubu that these promising young ones had to die such painful death because of common food.

It's so shameful as parents of the deceased students to tell someone the cause of their children's death. When people ask them, should they now say the children died cos they were hungry and struggling to get palliatives ?

I can tell u that these girls weren't actually hungry, it was just out of greed that they went to struggle to get those stuffs. They have parents and lots of boyfriends who they bill. They use expensive phones

The organisers should be held responsible for the deaths. Even when you are giving free palliatives to the public, it is your duty to ensure an orderly event. No amount of goodwill can replace these lives lost.
