Sadly this is how the promising lives of this nation are still being wasted because of leadership ineptitude.

Leadership ineptitude is the cause of students not comporting themselves?

Jesus Christ!

Nigerians are always in a rush...something that will go round, most of us like to rush to get it.

This is also evident in the way we drive. Everybody rushing to somewhere at the same time. They will block the main way and the alternative.

May their souls rest in peace. An avoidable death is painful

When you have a system, there will no be need for rush. Been to Kenya, South Africa, even Ghana obey traffic rules,

Over here abroad, the poor have a stronger case than the wealthy. In Nigeria na who get money pass. Nigeria has no system, it’s just jagajaga, anything goes.

So, those sharing the food items couldn't properly organize things?!!

There are several ways to minimize or prevent rush and stampede. It always comes down to organization.

Ogbeni, Food Sharing causes Stampede, particularly amongst Africans. 😕

A Responsible Govt should have known this. sad

This USELESS APC govt policy of Palliative Sharing is anachronistic and wants to make Nigerians look like Refugees. embarassed undecided

Two young ladies cut short in their prime... cry

Two strongest drives in a human:

1 to stay alive

2 to have sex

When people see palliatives in a time of famine, they see it as a matter of life or death... so they rush for it.

But seeing students rushing to death for it makes it rather strange.

See how these young, lively, beautiful ladies with promising futures ended their Lives just because of a few cups of Rice. Is it worth it? See what Nigeria has been reduced to? It's so shameful as parents of the deceased students to tell someone the cause of their children's death. When people ask them, should they now say the children died cos they were hungry and struggling to get palliatives ?

You're not making any sense. You're stylishly trying to pin every blame on the young girls and making excuses for the stupid government we have at the moment. Is the palliative not their common wealth?

I can tell u that these girls weren't actually hungry, it was just out of greed that they went to struggle to get those stuffs. They have parents and lots of boyfriends who they bill. They use expensive phones

So sad!

We lack organization skills in this country - from the leaders to the followers - gross indiscipline and lawlessness and disorganization.
Why not organize the sharing of the palliatives in a proper manner? Must we behave like zoo? - I am so pained right now and above all, see how they exposed their corpses to everybody as if they are nothing!

When I was in the UK as a student, my school usually gave students some food items to cushion the effect of hardship some students may be facing, especially the international students. If you needed to collect "palliative" from the school's food bank, you book online and you will be scheduled the time and place to come and collect it in the school. Once you arrive at that time, your name was already written on your own items and you just pick it up. No stress; No queuing up. But you must come at appointed time or else you reschedule.
