We are not matured yet for state police Those governors would abuse the power Modified: #FreeIjele, na so one pastor arrested one of the NL members because the guy said he his a fake pastor and almost all his miracle stunts na lie. If no be abuse of power, why can't the pastor pray to God to punish Ijele without involving DSS, okay God no dey work like that, then go to LUTH where real sick people dey and perform wonders, he couldn't. If ordinary pastor can be abusing power because of privilege, how much more of the state governors.. #freeIjele 37 Likes 1 Share |

Please any state that is not interested in state police should be left behind, give the ones that want to go ahead the license to. It's a new dispensation. Those not matured for state policing should stay behind and be romancing bandits, criminals, and kidnappers, enough of some states holding the entire nation down. As for those saying it will be abused, is there no check and balance. Even the police under Federal is abused by the governors so what is new about that. It's the citizenry that should press their neck for checks and balances. We have dwelt long enough on this mountain. Abeg! 25 Likes 1 Share |

States inputs are not needed to legalize state police. Just change the relevant part of the constitution and the deed is done. No state should be forced to have one and no state should be prevented from having one. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

I noticed that these governors don't want responsibilities. In actual sense, they might be the reason why Nigeria is yet to practice true federalism. If they do, they would have forced the hands of FG to restructure to true federalism. 2 Likes |
