State like Abuja need atleast 30trn for efficient world class infrastructure and to run optimally. 1.2trn is so meagre, it's not even enough for only educational budgets of fct
you cannot develop a city more than its people ? yeah so much talk about infrastructure but how much effort is put into people development? Nigeria would never achieve so much unless its people are empowered and educated. When the people are not enlightened and empowered, build all the infrastructures you can, it would be plundered. we need mentally, emotionally and physically healthy people to build a healthy society. truth is most Nigerians are not healthy and you would hardly get the society to work. the priority of any govt that wants to work should be making investments in the people.

I concur, if you're building physical capital projects without investing on human capital, the human capital you failed to invest on won't value the physical capital projects or might even ruined it but investing on human capital can bring a lot of volunteers to build more of physical capital projects through their various foundations or community development service

Nigeria system doesn't understand social democratic governance

yeah right . We get people that have no business with governance in power. For their benefit, they need to have the current crop of Nigerians. There wouldn't be resistance to plunder of the nation's wealth and they have good control of the people. It's a win for them . what better way can they legally loot the treasury other than disguising it under infrastructural development ; which seems appealing to the untrained mind.

It is a budget and it doesn't mean the total sum Would be accessed 100%.

These criminal Nigerian Politicians have moved away from stealing billions into the realm of trillions and whilst Nigeria's total GDP is 23 trillion Buhari borrowed 23 Trillion from CBN secured against future oill sales and Tinubu in just 9 months has borrowed and extra 8 Trillion to add to the figure. Now equally Greedy Wike does not want to be left out and his budget for the FCT is 1.1 Trillion just like than.

Its a season of steal as much as you can to secure your election rigging loot into perpetuity.

There was a country.

I don't even live in Nigeria and you would have thought that I will be immune from worrying about what these cannibals are doing to our dear country but East or West home is the best - at least that's what my dad taught us as kids.

But the minute Tinubu came near the ballot, I've been worried about the fate of Nigeria's Treasury under that master treasury looter called Tinubu.

God help Nigeria and deliver it from these HEARTLESS NIGERIAN POLITICIANS.

I'm not into buying and selling. If I was I wouldn't sell old things the same price as new ones, that's stealing.
So you don't sell services?
You do charity?
Think before you talk na
Does taxi charge same price
What of tailor
And yes you would sell old at new price otherwise you will go bankrupt

Economics has nothing to do with emotion

It's not about emotions. It's about the greed of traders of which you know what I'm talking about.
