nairalanda1:Actually I tried to explain to you on your previous mention but I got distructed by the network provider And I don't think I need to explain anything for you again but for knowledge sake Let me do it. Kumuyi called the TV then as a devil box because it is corrupting the mind of the simple through the immoral stuff that is being watch then and now Now note If pastor kumuyi still say don't watch TV because of the immoral stuff which it promote then Isn't their phone for people to still collect the immoral stuff and still watch! With the aid of the Internet we see that the TV (monitor) can be use in proclaiming and propagating the gospel message. The big screen being use at gbagada and the TV (monitor) that is being use at every district church now is use in transmitting the gospel message and reaching people far and near. Don't watch the immoral stuff that is being shown on TV But rather watch gospel message through it We don't watch TV for the sake of pleasure and sinful gratification but rather for the glory of the God And the TV (monitor) now is being use in preaching the gospel So please make sure you get your fact before saying something you don't know and for what you posted that pastor kumuyi say on the YouTube I don't know what is your goal or mission but I know it is not for the glory of God Because if it was You will not be targeting the Church of God or looking for fault where there is none just to suit you egolistic nature You need to grow up and be a better Christian in joining to promote God's own church and for the preaching of the gospel. You need to repent Because every idle words shall be judge on the last day especially talking against church I really hope you become a better Christian and stop looking for ways to defame a church just for pleasing ego. You make the body of Christ rather say the church of God sick. Repent |

Taiwojon: The problem is, you think I am attacking your hero, when I am essentially trying to explain why he changed his view, and doing it to even correct a person mocking a member of your church. At the end, you missed the whole point, because it was too nuanced for you to get it. Once upon a time deeper life did not use tv, now they do. It is not hypocrisy on the church's part, it reflects the fact that television itself has changed to a point where one can control or even avoid sinful material. Which has proven good for many christians. This isn't the 1970's where you had one channel showing filth and good stuff mixed together, and where you sometimes could not avoid it... this is the era where tv has become divided into so many spaces as it where where you can avoid the filth that sometimes appears on the set. Thus change happens , because the TV Has changed to suit the preferences of its potential viewers. But you missed it, because you thought I was attacking your church and calling you hypocrites. That is why I was angry with you. You were rude and you behaved badly, and you are still being rude and behaving badly. Consider how you are behaving in light of scripture...that says our speech should always be seasoned with salt. I may not be a member of Kumuyi's church, but I most certainly do not regard him as a hypocrite, just as someone who sees how things have changed and takes advantage of it for the gospel. If you cannot see that, sorry. I am also sick and tired of the way you Nairalanders are so abusive and so annoying. If y'all cannot grow up and be more polite, then you are not fit for human society. Learn to be more polite and properly spoken. And the gall of you to ask me to repent, when you came here to call my comment rubbish. Shouldun't you repent for using such intemperate language , old chap? 1 Like |

crossbreedwears:If you've ever been in the service before like you said, you'd know that you still require a medical certificate, an "excuse shave" before you can keep beards even in the NE..... It's not a publication, it's a medical certificate. Izza clear oga wannabe. Stop impersonating |
Re: British Army Lifts Ban On Soldiers Growing Beards by crossbreedwears(m): 3:11pm On Mar 31 |
Not all soldiers in the NE have "Excuse Shave". In fact most of my coursemates keep bears because no one is checking anyone there! It's a battle ground and nobody get anybody time. They only time most of them shave is when GOC or Chief comes to check his men! Nobody is impersonating here and let me shock you i served in the medical corps befere leaving the job.
