What is the longest trip you have ever made by air ?

Los to Kano .

Kamchatka to Moscow. 9 hours one-way flight. Russia is freaking huge, you just can't comprehend it. When people in Kamchatka are celebrating the new year, Moscow will celebrate their 9 hours later.

So you can time travel inside Russia. When you celebrate the new year in Kamchatka, you fly back to a city with another time zone, and you can go back to last year.

Imagine flying for 9 hours, and you are still inside Russia. Meanwhile, from Lagos to London, a trip where you will cross the ocean, to another continent, is six hours.

On a side note, France has the longest domestic flight. Which stands at 12 hours of direct flight time, from Paris to Reunion. Although metropolitan France is in Europe, the French territory spans across different continents.

Imagine Enugu state to be in Asia bordering China, and Kaduna close to Alaska in North America, that is France. When people think of France, they only think of European France, not knowing that it is an empire with territories everywhere.

French Guiana is a territory of France that shares a border with Brazil in South America and also shares a border with Suriname. So if you live in French Guiana, you are still living in France, although you are in South America.

You will use Euros, you are in the EU, and your passport will not be stamped when you fly in between, and it is a domestic flight. Just wow.
